"Did something happen?"Your head shot up from the bag on the kitchen counter you were just unpacking as soon as your mother's voice penetrated your ears. Confused, you blinked. "What? No, why?"
"You're smiling at eggs darling." She stated, wearing a warm smile herself, taking the packing from your palms.
Huh, I didn't realize...
...wait, why the fuck am I even-"And the way your eyes are sparking... I haven't seen that in a long time."
You observed your mother for a while. Scanned her pleased expression as she put away the goods you placed on the counter.
You did feel somehow different after the unexpected meeting with Karasuno's libero. The world seemed a bit more colorful than usual, your body a bit more awake. Which was strange, since people drained your battery out, rather than charged it. Only a very few could do that. It left you shocked, because of the fact Nishinoya was still just a stranger to you.

No, wait... He wasn't anymore. He was your friend now. It felt nice to call someone that after such long time. A pleasing warmth spread over your chest. Gently caressed your heart and forced it to pump more blood into your cheeks. Making them redden."No, nothing happened, really.." You turned away quickly, hiding your smile in the fabric of your old shirt.

Apart from your morning encounter it was a Saturday like every other. Saturdays were the 'productive days' for your parents, therefore they had to be productive for you as well.
Your mother stood behind the kitchen counter, stirring the lunch in making and your father ran around with vacuum cleaner. You helped where you could, peeling the potatoes or wiping the dust from the shelves. Or you simply studied. The same routine stuck to you for God knows how long and it was almost unimaginable that your weekend would look any different than this.
You were fine with that... Repeating the words to yourself, like repeating the routine, you didn't even realize it was slowly getting to you. You didn't realize it could be one of the sources of the building frustration deep inside you.
Never gonna find, anything to change my mind
Famous last lines of a foolEvening set upon Miyagi as quickly as the sun rose that day. The streets became darker and quieter. Stars shone above, decorating the sky in uneven patterns. And every time you looked up, the pattern changed. It was something unpredictable. Unexpected. Beautiful. You would have to get used to a new night sky every time.
You would have taken some photos long ago, but the stars were never visible enough. The camera you owned wasn't exactly the best quality, so the photos would always come out plain black.
