(I would like to apologize in advance, I know very little about the order of Haikyuu matches, about who plays against who, and when do the matches actually happen. To avoid any confusion the following chapters won´t be based on actual events in the series. Meaning; I made this whole part up.)
Air was getting colder and colder each day. The temperatures did not decrease that drastically, no, but you had to start wearing another layer of clothing over your uniform, and had to pull up your stockings as high as possible. Your schoolbag bounced on your back as you lifted your gaze from your phone,
checking your surroundings.I’m lost. Fucking great I’m definitely lost.
The sun was shining. In a way. There was this thin layer of clouds gently covering the sky making the world seem brighter than it usually was. You gripped your phone in your palm following the instructions of your navigation. You looked up from time to time to make sure you were walking down the right path. You were. But you felt lost anytime you looked around.
Miss independent
The unknown area you were in was scary. But only because it was unknown. The libero gave you exact directions how to find the building his match was taking place in. But you forgot to listen at that moment.
Miss self-sufficient
Concrete cracked under your steps as you bit your inner cheek unconsciously. You even had to stop your music, earbuds in your ears were now strangely silent. You didn´t take them out though, that would only make you look more approachable.
Miss keep your distance
After a few more minutes and few confused three-hundred-sixty-degrees spins you actually managed to stumble upon a large building that your phone tagged as your goal destination.
Miss on her own
Small groups of people were standing in front of the entrance. Some wore uniforms, some casual clothes, and you even spotted some of the players from different schools. Light chatter filled the air, its intensity increased as you came closer.
Miss almost grown
Aren´t those from our school? They seem familiar. You though to yourself as you unlocked your phone to open your chat with the short libero. You just wanted to let him know you´ve arrived. And somehow get him to come pick you up without actually asking.
So, by keeping her heart protected
She'd never ever feel rejectedThe entrance door squeaked as someone pressed into it. Before you could turn around arms filled with colorful bruises and scratches sneaked their way around your waist, pulling your back into someone´s chest.
Little miss apprehensive
It startled you, that was true. Your heart began to pound loudly in your chest. Your reflexes would immediately urge your limbs to kick and punch, if they didn´t know exactly whose arms wrapped around you. And if the embrace wasn´t so warm and welcoming.
