Michael POV

We drove through uptown Manhattan, heading to the apartment of my brother Paul. I haven't seen him in ages since my family lives in Florida. My daughters were fighting in the backseat and my wife was applying makeup. Again. Hannah and Lucy my eldest daughters at age 16 and 17, were arguing over their prom dates, while my youngest daughter Maisie age 14, was complaining that her sisters kept poking her with their long and fake nails.

We finally arrived at Paul's apartment and rang the doorbell. Sally, his wife, opened the door. 'Oh Michael! Ashley! Girls! Welcome!' She exclaimed enthusiastically. Paul greeted us and brought us into the lounge, where their 2 year old daughter Estelle sat, eyes fixated on the TV where Paw Patrol was playing. 'Estelle look who's here!' Paul called to his daughter. My niece looked over with her green eyes, and a toothy grin spread across her little face. 'Uncle Mikie!' She cried, and skipped over, giving me a hug. 'Hey cutie!' Hannah squealed, squeezing Estelle into a bear hug. Lucy and Maisie high fives their cousin. My wife Ashley chatted to Sally. Estelle went back to watching TV, while Lucy braided her hair. Maisie remained quiet and Hannah texted her friends back in Florida. I drank coffee and ate some delicious desserts prepared by Sally.

One Hour Later

Estelle pressed her nose up against the window, watching the snow fall. The front door suddenly opened revealing Percy Jackson, Sallys son from a previous realationship. A beautiful blonde girl was with him.
She wore:

I didn't know who she was but I hope Percy isn't dating. No human should date until after college and have a secure job.
Sally beckoned them in, serving hot chocolate and cookies. 'How was your walk guys?' She asked. 'Okay Sally, except SOMEONE tripped me up on hen we were ice skating' the blonde girl said, narrowing her eyes at Percy. 'Perseus Jackson...I'm disappointed' Sally said with sarcasm. Percy bowed his head in shame, while snickering under his breath. The blonde rolled her eyes.

'Annabef!!' Estelle squealed in excitement. She ran on her little toddler legs over to this Annabeth girl. Annabeth picked her up and twirled her around laughing. 'Hey Stella! Do you see the snow?' She asked Estelle. 'Yeah! It's like pwincess Elsa!' My niece exclaimed. 'Exactly like Princess Elsa!' Annabeth laughed. 'Annabef I wanna show you somefing!' Estelle cried. She ran off down the corridor, Annabeth following in pursuit. Percy just stood there with a look of shock on his face. 'Percy...honey are you alright?' Sally asked. Percy looked over at us. 'My sister loves my girlfriend more than me!' He said placing a hand on his heart. That got me angry. How could Paul let Percy date a girl?! He is much too young! He is only what? 19? 20? Far too young for a committed relationship!

'Excuse me, how dare you date someone at this age!! Paul I'm extremely disappointed you let this happen!' I say angrily. 'Well exxxcccuuuseee moi Mister I-Hate-Love, but it's not Pauls decision over who I love, or yours or anyone else's! Me and Annabeth love each other and would gladly give our lives to save one another!' Percy yelled.

'I'm sure you just like her for her looks DONT  you?! Your just going to leave her pregnant and heartbroken soon enough!' I shot back. 'Pfff like I could leave her! She is both my best friend and the only girl I need!' Percy said angrily.

Annabeth stormed out of wherever she and Estelle were. Her grey eyes flashed like a thunderstorm, glaring daggers at me. 'If you ever say those things again, I will end your life' she said. And with that, my family and I stood up and drove back to Florida. We never saw my brother or his family again.
