Zoe Pov:

              Finally! It was New Years Eve and literally EVERYONE was at our house. Piper, Jason and their kids, Frank, Hazel and their kids, The Valdez gang, Uncle Malcom and his wife, auntie Estelle, Grandad Paul, Grandma Sally, Uncles Bobby and Mathew, Grandad Frederick and Helen(an: she knows all about the gods and stuff) and Grover and Juniper with the twins. Oh and Nico and Will were here too, but Thalia couldn't come. She was here for Christmas Day though, so that was really great!

For dinner we had every freaking food and dessert was the same. Obviously Grandma Sallys classic Blue Cookies we're gone the fastest out of all the foods. After dinner, there 2as still hours to go before the New Year. We all went out into the garden and we did a big game of football. Me, Mom, Dad, Jason, Luke, James, Will, Ash, Grandad Paul, Nyssa, Estelle, Ellie,Uncle Bobby and Leo crushed the others. They all said it was because mom, dad, me and Luke were all on the same team, but they are just sore losers.
All the adults went back inside after an hour to talk about boring finances and bills or whatever it is adults talk about these days. I really do take after my dad don't I? I just do not give a dam about wise stuff. Anyway, we got bored and it was only eight o' clock.

Us kids went down to the stables where our three pegassi were. But it was to dangerous to ride without our parents. After a round of Smoothie Shots,( a bunch of shot glasses filled with smoothies)and some blue taffy, we decided to have some fun in the pool.
We did some object finding, Shark Tag, diving and racing. And a mega round of volleyball in the pool and then more underwater tag, which naturally, Luke, Char and I won. Then Ellie and Bella dumped loads of Barbie Dolls in the jacuzzi so we had to rescue them. Nothing worse than pulling shredded Ken Shirts and Barbie hair out of a filter and jets.

By now it was about half-past nine. Then I started making little waves for surfing, using the huge pool dad trains in. It was better than the wave pools at water parks!! Soon it was nearly eleven o' clock.

   By now, Ellie, Char and Bella were getting cold, so I got them dressed in their pyjamas. The rest of us continued surfing thanks to Luke. After we got dressed into our matching pyjamas, which thanks to Valentina Diaz, were designed with each of our parents Godly Parents symbol. So us Jackson's had tridents and owls, while let's say the Grace's had little lightning bolts and tiny hearts. After a game of  the new edition of Mythomagic, Mom came out and lit a small campfire but in the fire pit obviously. She also gave us those mega sized marshmallows and cookies. Blue colour of course. I swear to Poseidon, everything in our kitchen is blue!

At 11:55, the adults came out to the patio. We could see Times Square from up here. It's such a great view from our house, you can see all of Manhattan. Dad came and stole like, ten hundred marshmallows which mom and Grandma Sally jokingly scolded him for. Leo thought all this was the most hilarious thing he had seen. Apart from Hazel trying TacoBell for the very first time. Now that was funny! Apparently she tried to like eat it with a spoon and well...it got messy. I was like two years old so I don't really remember it.

Suddenly we could hear the sound of the countdown. "10, 9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" we cheered. Fireworks exploded into the air and cheers could be heard all over New York. Then after like a minute it was back to normal. For about ten seconds anyway. Because all of a sudden, Luke yelled "PARTAAAYYYY TIMMMEEEE!!!!!!" And all Hades broke lose. All the boys had stuffed water balloons and water guns in their pockets and it became a war zone. Balloons flew through the air, whacking into us, water guns squirted streams of IVE cold water, our clothes were soaking wet and shrieks from my cousins were probably heard in Australia. "LUKE ETHAN JACKSON!!! YOU STOP RIGHT NOW!!" Mom yelled. "HASHTAG NEVER MOM" he yelled back, nailing Will in the face. It was going to be a long, long cleanup. Sometimes, Luke is dumber than dad. And that says a lot.

Sorry that the chapters are shorter than usual lately, I have been very busy with just life in general. Hopefully they will be longer in the next couple of weeks  Xx
