Mindy looked in the mirror for the third time. Sure they were just going to the amusement park but that didn't mean she didn't want to look the best she could for it. The cropped tee and shorts teased just enough for her to be hot but not too much. Her make-up had meticulously applied to be perfect.

Even if it wasn't the same amount work she smiled to herself at how much effort Tyson was putting into getting ready too. Not a hair out of place and he hadn't pulled out an iron for his collared shirt since he has proposed to her. She sighed and looked down at the ring.

Would marriage ever happen now? Even if thing go well with Maria it's not like they could be married civilly. How was she going to tell her mom? Her breathing had become shallow. She went to the bed before letting her knees buckle as she sat down on the edge of the bed.

Tyson had immediately noticed and gently sat beside her.

"Nervous?"

"I'm mortified. Maybe we rushed into this. Are we ruining our everything by doing this?"

Tyson wrapped his arms around her and paused for moment before speaking.

"I've wondered the same thing... but this is just a first date. If things don't workout it will be okay."

"We both know it's more than that. Look at how much we're doing for this date."

"I think that's why I'm going forward with it anyway. We both love each other and we both love Maria. We've all spent so much time with each other now. There is still a chance we could ruin this but it's worth it to have something as special as what we've found."

A tear fell from Mindy's eye before she hugged her lover back.

"You're right. I'm still just scared."

"I know, baby. I am too but I think we're doing the right thing."

Mindy took a deep breath.

"Me too."
