You sat on the couch, flipping through various channels.

It was about midnight now and Nash still hadn't came back from work.

It made you upset because he'd never been late, but somehow, he had begun to make a habit out of it.

You grabbed your phone from the living room table and impatiently dialed his number.

No answer.

You began to get so uncomfortable, you felt sick to your stomach. You ran to the bathroom and threw up everything you had previously eaten.

When you finished, you flushed the toilet in disgust and sat down on the couch again.

You had been throwing up for the past three weeks and it was making you upset. Were you what you thought you were?

You paced around the room back and forth.

You knew you weren't ready for a baby, so you thought of all the abortion pills that could keep you from having it.

No. Nash always wanted a child. If you do this, he'll never forgive you.

You knew that what you were planning on doing was selfish, so you shook it out of your head.

"There's no way in hell I can raise a child right now!" you yelled in frustration.

Suddenly, the doorknob started to wiggle. He was home!

You sat down and acted as if you were watching the television the entire time to lower the amount of suspicion.

"I'm home! I brought Chinese food too," he smiled over at you, carrying the bags over to your kitchen island.

"Um... that's great!"

Sinking down into the cushion of the couch, you thought how you were going to explain this. But first, you had to get some things off your chest.

"Nash? How come you've been late a lot lately?" You asked.

"Babe, I told you that it takes a while to film on set. We'll be done filming by next week, though. I promise,"

"And why wouldn't you answer your phone?"

"It died. You don't have to worry, baby. I'm all yours,"

He walked over to you, carrying two boxes of Chow Mein and orange chicken over to you. When he sat down, he kissed you on the forehead.

"Okay. Well..." you shifted around awkwardly.

"Y/N, what's wrong?" he frowned.

You twiddled with your thumbs for a second and looked back up at him.

His blue eyes were locked into your
y/e/c (your eye color) ones, as he waited for you to answer.

"I think.. I think I'm pregnant, Nash." you tell him, tears running down your cheeks.

He hopped up from the couch and ran around in excitement. Then he collapsed to the floor and sobbed.

"I'm going to be a father!" he squealed, still running around like a little boy. It made you laugh about how young and immature he acted about good news.

You smiled, but you still didn't understand why you weren't happy. Nash is the best thing that ever happened to you, so why does it make you so worried to be having his child?

Besides the fact that you weren't pain tolerant, you just didn't want to come to the day when you'd have to go in labor. All of those long hours, pushing, screaming, and crying didn't seem so amusing to you. You couldn't help to think of doctors pulling a live human out of you, without making sure you didn't faint during the entire process.

Yeah, there were medicines to numb the pain, but you just didn't think you could take it. And afterwards... being tied down with a wailing baby while Nash goes on with his career, wasn't going to be a "Happily Ever After" story. You'll lose sleep and time to even take care of yourself, not just as a mother, but as a wife too. You wanted the best for your child, but right now, you didn't think it was a good idea.

"Y/N? Y/N, are you okay?" Nash fretted.

"I'm not ready," you blurt, making Nash nearly jump out of his skin. "I'm not ready to be a mother. I'm only twenty-three and I have so much... so much I need to do in life and if I have this baby, all of my hopes and dreams are going to be-----"

Nash embraced you into the tightest hug, letting you cry onto his shoulder.

"It's okay. We're going to get through this," he whispered, soothing your worries.

"But----"

"There's no need to get hasty about things," he muffled into your hair, "I can take time off and help you with the baby and whenever you need me, just let me know. I will always be here for you, Y/N. Just don't worry too much,"

You nodded as he parted from you.

"But what about your career?" you pondered.

"My career will never amount to you and my unborn child. It can wait,"

The way he spoke to you kept you calm. His raspy, low voice made everything seem as if it was falling into place.

"I love you, Y/N." he smiled.

"I love you more,"
