[A/N: this one is... different. Just letting you know lol. By the way, there is switching POV's between you and Nash; don't get confused hahahahah. Enjoy! :p ]
"Well are you going to come?" Nash laughed through the phone as you twirled your hair nervously.
"But it's late, the sun is going to go down any minute and my parent's wouldn't want me out," you sighed.
You heard his heavy breaths rushing through the speaker of your phone, the brawn wind scratching at your ears. He must've been walking already, after your refusal. You already expected it, knowing that Nash was as stubborn as a mule.
"Just come. I need to tell you something," he giggled, cutting the conversation short.
"Nash?... Nash?" you called into the dead line.
Totally expected.
Nothing was heard through the other side of the line, so you hung up the phone and threw it on your blue bean bag, across the room, forcing the palm of your hands to your forehead, hoping that an idea would trickle into that big brain of yours.
What are you waiting for?
That was the question that wouldn't exit your mind; Nash was one of the closets friends you had, and he was someone you could share all your secrets with. No one was as open to you as Nash was, and you weren't sure why he loved telling you about his problems. You were like his little mentor, telling him what to do and what not to do when it came to girls. He never told you who his crush was, but you knew she must've been worth it for him to blab to you so much about what to do to get her to like him.
You shook your head, your y/h/c hair soaring around. You jumped up to your closet and grabbed a pair of blue skinny jeans, along with a pink shirt, just to give your chest a bit of a 'pop'. You didn't understand why you were primping yourself up, just for a quick meeting with your friend. What made you care so much about how you looked now?
You threw on your white scarf and your lengthy grey sweater, and posed in the mirror, checking yourself out. You looked great, and you felt that makeup wasn't necessary.
You tip-toed over to your window, unlocking and lifting it up with all the strength in you, as the cold, cruel air gushed against you. You squinted your eyes in response, sitting on the ledge of your paint-chipped window and sighing.
"Oh, how much trouble I'm going to get in if they find out I'm not in my room," you shivered at the thought, pushing yourself off onto the uncut, fading-green grass.
You clutched onto it, your fingers clasped around the hairs of the Earth as you waited to recover your mind from your spine-chilling jump.
This night would be interesting for you.

You had began walking to the park, which was about six blocks away, and you groaned, knowing that those new year resolutions you had made each year of excersing was finally taking it's lead.
It was cold; It was so cold, that your entire body was burning at the frost-bite feelings from your toes, all the way to your aching finger tips. You couldn't feel any of them, as if they had taken a break from you, and everything else on your freezing body was going to do the same.
Your nose oozed a bit, and you gripped the arm of your sleeve and mopped it upon your nostrils, sniffing up the rest. Your throat was numb, but every time you swallowed, you felt a sense of abrading as your saliva slid slowly down to your starving stomach.
You wanted to turn back, but soon enough you'd be arriving to the park, and after all this suffering in the bitter cold, you knew going back would only unsatisfy you more.
