Vaggie pulled out the spear in my body.
"I think it's over." Vaggie said looking around.
Everyone looked at her.
"What? I did what he asked me to do! You should thank me for taking care of both of those *****." Vaggie said.
Rapunzel's eyes swelled up with tears. Even Cass looked sad.
"How could you do that?! There had to be another way!" Rapunzel yelled.
"What are we going to tell Quirin?" Eugene asked.
"Tell him that his son died a hero." Vaggie said.
Rapunzel ran to my body. She fell to her knees crying. She gripped my hand.
"I'm sorry Varian! I'm sorry!" Rapunzel said.
Vaggie took the book. She opened a portal to Hell.
"Where are you going?" Cass hissed.
"Uh, home. I'm not supposed to be in this world. I'm dead." Vaggie said.
"At least stay for the funeral." Eugene said.
Rapunzel was still crying.
"Varian? Varian?" Quirin's voice yelled.
He opened the door. He gasps. He sees my bloody body and Vaggie's bloody spear.
"What have you done? What have you done?!" He yelled.
"I did what he asked me to do. I made a deal." She said.
Quirin's eyes swelled up. He clutched by body.
"Alright, alright, I'll stay just until the funeral ends." Vaggie sighed closing the portal.
"He will get the most amazing funeral." Rapunzel said standing up.
Eugene put his hand on her shoulder.
"I am so sorry Raps." Cass said.
They sky cleared on Corona. The storm has passed for both me and Bill.
