Harin's Point of View.

"Hey there, little girl," Taeyong greeted Sera as soon as the door was opened by my brother.

As Sera saw her supposedly favorite uncle, she glee in joy, and her body kept on moving due to the excitement contained in her.

"Don't try to hold her, she'd wake the entire world, I'm not kidding," Heeseung, my brother, warned before Taeyong could even extend his hand to hold Sera.

"I knew it, dude. Your sister has told me,"

Yes, you read it right. Sera, the one that I've been referring to is my one and only daughter.

Everyone loves the 11-month-old baby girl, including complete strangers that we walked passed by on the street. Everyone adores her, but with the exception of, you know.

Her own father.

It's too sad to be true but well, I gotta accept the truth. That's the reality.

Sera has too many uncles for her to consider any of them to be a father figure, anyway. She just needs to choose one.

When I looked at my baby, even though my heart had split into many parts, it simply blended back together and began to mend.

Sera is my go-to remedy for anything. She took care of every wound her father left me. She is my most prized possession. I can't even put it into words of how grateful I am to have her.

It feels like I don't deserve my daughter.

"Hey, I'll get going first. Gotta check on the boys," Taeyong said before he walked away.

From inside our apartment, Heeseung watched him walk towards the elevator.

When his shadow vanished, Heeseung turned to me and asked, "Why did he send you home? Did you lose your job? Did you do something? You still have job to do, right?"

I lazily looked at him, "He gave me a week off, and even suggest that I should work at home for Sera," I entered the apartment, locking the door and going to the living room.

"Nah, I can take care of her,"
"You still need to work either,"
"I'm the boss at the company,"

Jeez, look at him showing off. If he wasn't dad's favorite child, I'm pretty sure he would be living somewhere under the bridge, jobless.

"Yeah? Dad wouldn't be happy knowing you took a lot of days off from his business just for you to take care of his unwanted granddaughter," I replied.

He sighed and joined me on the couch while setting Sera down on the floor to play with her toys. "Don't say that, you don't know how mom and dad feel about Sera,"

"They don't even wanna see me after I told them I was pregnant," I replied, causing him to roll his eyes.

"They were disappointed, you stupid. It's not that they don't wanna see you anymore," He said, flicking my forehead with his finger.

"Hey, that hurts!"

Heeseung burst out laughing when he sees my grumpy face. Oh well, he really enjoyed it when I reacted to his teasing, ever since we were kids.

"What are you gonna do?"
"Do what?"
"You got a week off,"

I shrugged, "Maybe I should work from home,"
"Or it'd be better if you just stop working," He said.

I scoffed, "You and your words trying to make me stop working," I shook my head. But for real, he kept on pestering me to quit my job at the cafe ever since Sera was born.
