Day 3

Harin woke up to the sound of Sera's crying. She rubbed her eyes, exhausted. She moved to the side, patting her daughter's back to soothe the baby.

"Ririn, you're awake, good morning!"

The young mother turned her attention to the door, glimpsing her friend standing there with a smile, wearing an apron with a spoon in his hand.

She put on a confused expression but then laughed after thinking how ridiculous her friend looked. "You had a sleepover here?" She asked.

Hao joyfully nodded, "You fell asleep when I was playing a video game with Heeseung last night. Get ready for the day! I made some breakfast," He informed, waving the spoon in his hand before he left, heading to the kitchen.

Harin glanced at the clock on her bedroom wall, indicating it was 10 in the morning. Heeseung must be out already for work.

"Baa..baa~"

The sound of Sera's babbling caught her mother's attention. The young mother beamed, picking up her daughter as she stood up, taking a look at them both in the mirror. "Good morning, sweetheart~"

"Did you have a good dream last night?" Harin questioned, brushing her nose against the little one, earning her chortle.

She made her way to the bathroom, getting ready for the day that awaits her. While Hao was in the kitchen, checking his phone which contained a lot of missed calls and texts from his roommate, Gunwook.

Hao chuckled at the concerned texts, "I already texted you I'm spending the night at Harin's, I'll be back soon, Gunwook. Don't worry too much," He voiced, sending it to the younger one.

He put his phone aside and gazed at the breakfast that he cooked. He proudly smiled, glad to know that he was the one preparing breakfast for Harin.

Until his mind lingered back on the conversation he had with Heeseung when they were playing games.

"Don't you have classes tomorrow?" Heeseung questioned while his hands are busy clicking on the remote control.

Hao shrugged, "If you don't mind me, I just felt like I need to stay for Harin and Sera," He answered, about to beat Heeseung but then was halted when the younger one paused the game.

He glanced at Heeseung, "Why did you pause it?" He asked. Heeseung didn't utter a single word but chose to stare at the older one for a few seconds.

"No offense but I was curious about how come you're here instead of Hanbin. I thought they were getting back together–"

"She told me that Hanbin will be marrying Yiseul,"

"Oh, no wonder– WAIT WHAT DID YOU SAY??" Heeseung yelled but was decent enough to make sure anyone sleeping wouldn't wake up.

Hao shrugged, "That's what she told me this afternoon. She abruptly came to my dorm crying–"

"The fuck?? What is wrong with that dude??" Heeseung was losing his words, he was tongue-tied, baffled by what had happened without him knowing.

He sighed, all this time he was busy with work that he neglected what was happening to his baby sister. He put the remote control away, pondering over the situation.

"We can't put all the blame on Hanbin. I'm pretty sure he has his reason," Hao said, earning a scoff from the brother.

"What is the justification for hurting my sister?"
