Day 2
"I'm sorry to bother you, but do you perhaps know a student named Zhang Hao?"
The fellow student nodded, "He's a popular student here, I saw him leaving the hall a few minutes ago. Are you his friend?"
Hanbin smiled as he nodded, "It's just– I haven't met him for so long and I have a few things to tell–"
"What are you doing here?"
He turned around and saw Hao standing with a rolled paper held in his hand, he was wearing a formal suit, probably he was just done with a presentation or something.
"Hao, I need to talk to you,"
"I'm not in the mood to talk,"Hanbin sighed, he foresaw this hard-headed behavior of Hao to happen before he came here looking for his old friend.
"Please, this is about Harin,"
The latter raised his eyebrow, "What does she have to do with me? Seriously, Hanbin. I'm having a test soon, so I don't have enough time to talk now, okay?" He said, almost leaving the place but was halted.
"Listen, this is an important matter, and you're the only one that I have in my mind to help me, please,"
Hao groaned. He led the way to the university's garden, where many students were loitering, and motioned for Hanbin to follow. They took a seat on a nearby bench, facing the water fountain.
"Spill it. I don't have much time,"
"I am the one that doesn't have much time, Hao,"Hao wore a perplexed look on his face. He focused on Hanbin while he seated himself comfortably on the bench. "You love talking nonsense ever since we were kids, don't you? What are you trying to tell me, really?"
"Promise me, don't tell Harin about this,"
"Okay, I promise. Now, tell me?"Hanbin sighed, staring at the students chattering happily with their friends, some of them were fooling around, even studying and hitting each other in a joking way.
"I took these experiences away from Harin's life,"
The Chinese boy scrunched up his nose as he frowned, "What? What the hell? I don't get it, Hanbin. Speak clearly," He said, hitting his old friend on his shoulder.
"Don't hit me!"
"I wouldn't if you speak clearly!"Hanbin rolled his eyes, "You've never changed, you always say I speak nonsensical things,"
"Well, that's because you really did," Hao lazily answered, getting enough of Hanbin's taking his time. "Now tell me what's so important? You're using up my time," He said, facing the latter as he brought his feet up the bench.
"It's getting worse, Hao,"
"What is it?"Hanbin faced the chinese man, "My health, you do know what I suffered from, right? When I was at the restaurant for dinner with Harin yesterday, I coughed out some blood. I went to the hospital and–"
Hao couldn't help but gasp, he didn't even try to hide the shock. "Don't tell me–"
"I told you I don't have much time left,"
The latter went silent. He could only stare at his 'friend'. Never ever had he thought the young father's life would be turning out like this. Hanbin has suffered from the illness since high school, honestly.
But now, it's just getting worse.
"Hanbin,"
"I hope you can help me,"Hao scoffed, he hit the young father's shoulder again, "You're not gonna die, Hanbin. Don't lose hope yet! I swear I might kill you first before the disease got to you if you keep on acting like this,"
