"I swear if you're making up some fake stories–"

"IT IS REAL! MY DAD WAS IN THE STORY! RIGHT, DAD?"

Doctor Park nodded, he stopped by the dorm after dinner with Gunwook.

The Chinese boy was confused of how to react. He stared at the ceiling of their dorm, laying on the floor covered with a carpet. "This makes me wonder if Hanbin knew about it,"

"He'd be in a comma if he knew the truth," Gunwook answered, making the two men laugh. "Isn't that right? He'd always be admitted to the hospital. What kind of illness did he suffer from, dad?"

Doctor Park smiled and shook his head, "I can't tell you anything about my patient's information,"

Gunwook groaned, eager to know more information regarding the senior. While Hao could only observe in silence since he already knew what was wrong with Hanbin.

"I never thought their dads would be so fucked up," Hao let out, he laughed sometimes at the unexpected truth.

Doctor Park nodded, agreeing. "Their lives would be so different now if Seongjun did have Hanbin as his son. Hanbin and Harin would've grown up in the same family,"

"Damn, and there'll be no Sera right now," Gunwook said, bewildered by the simple thoughts that could change their lives.

Hao sat up, facing the old man standing near them, "Maybe this is why Jihyuk doesn't want Hanbin to have a relationship with Harin,"

"Harin isn't related by blood to anyone though. It wouldn't be wrong if she dated Hanbin," Gunwook butted in, immersed in the story.

"But she's Seongjun's adopted daughter. Do you think Jihyuk would want to have a relationship with his bully when it also included his so-called 'son'?"

"No," Gunwook instantly replied.

"Isn't it amusing, though?" Doctor Park started, catching the boys attention.

"What's amusing?" Gunwook asked.

"Oh! I just realized one thing. Their situation goes around and round," Hao shortly let out as he thought of something.

"Seongjun didn't take responsibility when he impregnated Miyoung. And now his own son did the same to his adoptive daughter,"

"But the good thing is that Hanbin tries to stay around. Cause Seongjun didn't do anything. He married another woman, instead," Doctor Park continued.

The two university students were horrified by the truth that was revealed by the doctor. Hao shook his head, "That's just so fucked up,"

"The half-brothers were the fucked up ones, and now the victims are their own children," Doctor Park shrugged, expecting nothing less from the cat and dog duo when they were in high school.

His mind wandered to the poor son of Jihyuk, remembering every detail Hanbin had told him. "Jihyuk mentally abused Hanbin, he also physically abused the boy when he was a kid, and it led to him doing self-harming,"

"Jihyuk needs some therapy, for real," Gunwook voiced out, quivering at the word abuse. "You should see the scars on Hanbin's body, it looked as if he had fought in World War 2," Hao said.

Doctor Park laughed as he nodded, clearly aware of what Hao said. He had seen the scars on Hanbin's body either whenever he was treating the man.

"Alright, that's enough of the story for today. I need to head back to the hospital for work,"

The two youngsters stood up, following the elder who was walking to the door. "Do visit us again when you're free," Hao said, waving the old man goodbyes.
