Velma and her dad are in a self made interrogation room with Fred at the police guarded house. Fred has his hands tied like an interrogation.

Velma stares intently getting her face closer to his

V: Let's regroup after lunch.

( Fred Claps )

Fred: Servents.

Aman: Holy crap. You are innocent.

V: ? ( confused )

Aman: Okay. For my next witness, I would like to call the woman who caught Fred my own daughter, Velma Dinkley.

( crowd murmuring )

Judge: Velma, do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth?

V: Yes

Aman: And what did you think of my client?

V: Honestly, that he was a typical jock with anger issues.

( crowd murmuring )

V: But recently I realized I assumed wrong about Fred. He's not the person everyone knows him as. Fred Jones did not kill those two girls.

( crowd gasping )

His whole life, Fred has never had to lift a finger to do anything. He doesn't have the skills required to be precise and specific like what was found. He doesn't have the coordination required. I have here a video montage that proves he doesn't have the skills needed.

Judge: Great. Show us.

Velma plays the video found from Bretts camera that's a montage of Fred failing on various things. Ex: Trying to kick a skateboard up and hitting himself, doing a slam dunk but he slams his ass into the ground instead, etc.

( crowd laughing ) ( stammers )

Aman: Upon seeing this, your honor do you still believe this man was able to kill and remove Bretts brain?

He couldn't! Clearly Fred's innocent. But at what cost to his reputation and that of his family's business?

( crowd laughs )

Fred freezes with a familiar sinking feeling in his stomach, he turns to look at his dad who scoofs at him and looks away

Freds Dad: That fool has made a mockery of us!

Freds Mom: Be nice. Our son is free. And he did quite well.

Freds Dad: Uh-oh. That's not true.

Fred: I-

Freds Dad: Not! Another word, 'Reine'

Freds flashback: He was watching his favorite show, rewinding to the parts his favorite charcater came on screen, Reine. He wanted to be like them so much he wanted to be called Reine. He told his father and the dad, knowing this character was queer made it a 'lesson' by shaming him with it, calling him that only when he did something bad.

Fred: I may be uncoordinated but not enough that I wasn't able to steal Bretts camera!

Judge: Really? Then how did you do it?

Fred: I snuck in, I was able to moeover well enough no one noticed!

Judge: If you stole the camera from Brett and didn't pay him off for it, then how did Velma give it in as evidence?

( Velma looks nervous )

Fred: I-uh... Gave it to her!

Judge: I sentence you to jail for breaking and entering.

( doorbell rings )

Velma: Daphne? What are you doing here? ( gasps ) Wait. Did you realize I stole all your Zoinks? Please don't kill me.

D: No, you're good. I mean, rdon't ever think you'll get away with it again, but I saw you on TV and brought you this.

( gasps )

V: My mom's cold case file! Thank you!

D: Wait, do you still have those big panic attacks and voices?

V: You remember that?

D: You had one of your first ones at my house back before...

N: Well, I think I'm fine. Norville helped me get over them in the last one.

( screams )

D: Velma! Are you panicking?

V: No, it's a clue. The last place my mom's cell phone pinged the night she went missing was at Fred's house.

V: It's happening! Help!

Voice: No one can help you now, Velma. Solving mysteries only causes pain.

Daphne: Velma. What do I do? Velma!

V: I need to calm down, try to make me laugh.

D: Okay, I, uh, oh, I don't know any jokes but my mom told us this one last night "What did the grape say when it got crushed?"

Velma: ( Stares )

D: Nothing, it just let out a little wine.

D: ( laughing )

Velma joins in laughing at how bad the joke is and calms down

D: Are you feeling better?

V: Yeah, thank you
