Happily never after

Chapter 2: The party

It was last week of their college and so Samuel decided to host a party, afterall everyone would have selected different paths in life.

"phew.. finally done with the decorations" Amelia let out a sigh of relief.

"In an hour everyone should be here.." added Raymond.

"Hey Sam, your sister is coming back today right?" Annabeth asked.

"Oh...yeah! She's coming back today. Why are you asking that so suddenly though?"

"Ahh well..our siblings are good friends...and we'll...-

Anna was cut short by Samuel.

" Ohhh don't worry I get it! It will be ok you know that right? He'll be fine" added Samuel in consolidation.

"Yeah...so I hope..."

Amelia and Raymond understood the seriousness in Annabeths voice. The conversation they just had was about Annabeths older brother, Ace Jameson. Maj. Ace Jameson. Him and Samuels older sister, Abelia Wyatt are in the army.

" Don't worry Beth, afterall it's Ace we're talking about! He always pulls through does he not?" Added Raymond.

" Anna if it's about graduation day then trust me he'll find a way to come.." Amelia said trying to comfort her best friend.

" Your friends are right you know. Your brother misses you too much" announced an unknown soft voice.

"Si-sister?! You're back already?!" Exclaimed Samuel. It was Samuels sister. They both looked like each other and often got mistaken as twins.

"What do you mean back already, huh, you punk??!" Questioned Sabrina.

" I thought your flight got delayed..no need to scold me, jeez!"

"Haha I was kidding about that...where are my birth givers though?"

"Ohh, gang parents are having their own little get together."

"Ahh I see...well I'll be joining them then. Bye lads you enjoy!"

Then Sabrina left.

-Later-

It was now two hours since the party began.

On the rooftop, Raymond sat alone, sipping his soda.

"There you are!!" Annabeths sudden comment startled Raymond.

"hey Beth.."

"Hey.. you've been awfully silent today you know. Is something bothering you?" Annabeth questioned as she seated herself in front of Ray.

" Well you see.. I've been thinking about it lately. We all will soon graduate college and I don't know if I'll get this chance again.... I'm a little scared but uhh I will still say this.."

Raymond took a deep breath and then approached Annabeth. He sat down on his knees and held Beths hands on his. Then he continued his speech .

"Beth...I like you. Heck I love you, since day one I've loved you. Whenever I'm around you I'm my happiest version. Just your presence is enough. I have no idea what I'd do without you. I swear I will never let you go...so please, will you accept this little confession of mine?"

"Oh Ray..." Mumbled Anna. "Ofcourse I accept! Even I love you dearly. I fell for every aspect of Raymond Hill. I'll be the happiest to be your girlfriend Ray..."

Raymond quickly hugged Annabeth. They both embraced each other and then Raymond kissed Anna. It was a long passionate kiss.

-Annabeth's pov-

We were embracing each other a moment ago but then suddenly Ray grabbed me by my waist, lifted my face and passionately kissed my lips. A kiss from him...it was everything I had ever imagined it to be. His lips are as soft as they look. His touch is as hypnotising as it seemed.
This moment feels so dreamy...so magical....

-Raymond's pov-

That was it...I was kissing Beth...my Annabeth. I pulled her closer and kissed her passionately. Annabeth, what are you doing to me? Everything about her is like a dream. I suddenly feel complete.

A minute later they pulled away.

"Wow..that was...that was just..."

"Magical?" Guessed Anna.

"Yeah.. magical!" Raymond nodded.

They both looked at each other for a minute as though admiring each other.Then Ray exclaimed .

"Well..let's head downstairs shall we? Melia and Sam will be thrilled to hear this..."

"Certainly!" Giggled Anna.

Raymond and Annabeth then went downstairs just to see an empty hall. The crowd of students was gone. Suddenly Samuel and Amelia entered  through the front door again.

Annabeth then asked "where is everyone?"

Samuel replied " oh about that I declared the party was over...."

"Your parties last longer...plus it's only 11:30 as of now..." Added Ray.

" Well I wanted to spend some alone time with you guys...."

"Understandable..."

"You know Melia..Sam... we're together now..." Smiled Anna.

"WAIT WHAT REALLY????" Amelia squealed.

"HOW?WHEN?WHAT?" Asked a confused Samuel.

Raymond and Annabeth explained everything to the two and the four of them then enjoyed rest of their night watching movies, playing games and cracking jokes.....

It was a night to be remembered....
