Annabeth was laying unconscious near the Bethall river bridge construction site. Soon the medical backup along with Maxwell and the team's cyber eye, Victoria arrived.
Annabeth was rushed to the hospital. Her family and Raymond were already contacted.
Victoria and Maxwell waited for her family to arrive. They informed her parents about everything and soon left when Raymond reached there.
"Auntie, uncle.... don't worry she'll wake up....that's the queen of bullets at this point...." Raymond hugged Annabeth's parents as he tried to lift the mood.
" True that my boy..." Seline added as she hugged him back.
They joked but ofcourse, they were worried sick for Annabeth. They knew she'd wake up but anyone would be worried in this situation. Afterall, it was their daughter and love of his life.
They waited in the waiting area as the doctors operated to remove the bullet.
Soon they came out bearing good news. Annabeth was under anaesthesia, and was sedated. So she was asleep.
They said she should be up within 12 hour's. If not she would enter cirtical condition.
They waited inside Beths room.
Amelia and Samuel were informed but, they didn't immediately go to the hospital as the number of people visiting patients at one time was limited.
After 5 hours Annabeth woke up. At the time only Raymond was in the room. Her parents went out to get fresh air.
"Oooo~ look who's up...." Raymond commented sarcastically.
"Hello to you too dear." Annabeth added.
"You know...you scared us there...." Raymond's voice became serious.
"(Sigh) I'm sorry....none of the personel anticipated that there would be people there. We were pretty cautious....." Annabeth informed.
"Accidents happen..All aside....how are you feeling?" Raymond asked as he went near her bed and hugged her.
Annabeth hugged him back.
"I'm ok . How about you Ray?"
"Yeah I'm fine now that you are here...." He said as he relived himself.
" Are my parents here?" Annabeth asked curiously.
"Yes baby....they are out having a stroll. I'll go get them. I need to inform Amelia that you are awake as well.... She'll kill me otherwise....."
"(Laughing) You better go for that..."
Raymond exited.
As he went out to find Beths parents, Maxwell and Victoria entered Annabeth's room.
"Heyy detective....how are you, boss?" Asked Victoria.
"I'm alright Vic....sorry for scaring you...."
"It's ok detective... accidents happen..." Maxwell said.
"Btw Detective Anna.....what happened to those 4?"Victoria asked curiously.
"Oh...I killed them...." Annabeth replied in the most casual way.
"Y-YOU WHAT?! Victoria was amazed and shocked at the same time. Meanwhile Maxwell's jaw dropped.
"(Giggle) It was either kill or die moment... my dears...." Annabeth added as she sat up.
They checked in with Annabeth over important details for their report and left.
Soon Raymond entered with her parents.
"My baby daughter!" Daniel ran towards Annabeth and hugged her as he got a little emotional.
