"I'm going...that's it..!" declared Beth's grandfather.
"Fine! There's no stopping you anyways.." Ace agreed.
"So we leave first thing tomorrow morning and wait by Jameson residency by sharp 5am."Samuel repeated the instructions once again.
"Yes, that's precisely it. Hopefully we'll rescue boss Anna tomorrow." Victoria said her mind.
Everyone who were going decided it was best to stay at Jameson residency.
-Early next morning-
"EVERYONE READY?" screamed Beth's grandfather. If at all he was excited to go get his granddaughter.
" Yes pops!" Ace answered on everyone's behalf.
They all left in the department van. In the van they went over a few more details. Maxwell was going over the details for them.
He showed everyone a detailed map of the targeted place and is now explaining the groups.
"OK...so before we attack them, we'll be moving in groups. First group is Ace, Raymond and me. We'll directly attack Nathan. Next is grandfather Jameson, Amelia and agent Beckett. You guys are the backup. Incase of any emergency you will be called. And last is Victoria and Samuel. Since you guys know hacking, I want you two to hack into Nathans system and guide us safely. Your computers are connected to Desmond's, Desmond is currently being assisted by agent Hanako. He'll be getting live updates. Is everything clear? " Max carefully explained.
They reached the place where Annabeth was held captive. They successfully broke into the facility. Two guards were positioned at the entrance, who were both now dead. The team made it's way to the center of the factory. There were three different ways. Vic guided them through the right door and they were now inside the room where Beth was chained and kept.She appeared to be sleeping because of all the exhaustion. She was kept hungry and thirsty. for two whole days now.
"ANNABETH!!" Ace screamed his sisters name. He was about to run to her but Max stopped him.
"WAIT! This is too easy...there has to be a trap around here..." Maxwell guessed.
* clapping sound*
"Just as expected of you Maxwell..~" said the voice of a man. It was none other than Nathan.
He was on the other side of the room, now standing next to Beth.
"STEP AWAY FROM MY SISTER YOU!" Ace screamed, pointing a gun at Nathan.
"It's one vs three. You are at a disadvantage Nathan Blake!" Maxwell screamed.
Raymond stood there looking at Nathan with anger. He couldn't bring himself to speak because of his wife's condition.
"Are you sure?~" He said as 4 more guys showed up beside him and 4 of them behind Ace,Max and Ray.
Meanwhile Nathan held Annabeth close and threatened them with a knife.
Annabeth was now awake and aware of her surroundings.
"Ray!!" Brother!!" She screamed.
The three men were now in deep trouble.
Victoria and Samuel informed the back-up team about the situation. They didn't waste any time and moved to the coordinates.
"You are surrounded! Drop your weapons and then maybe I'll let you all go safely." Nathan ordered.
Before any of them could process anything, the men behind Max, Ace and Ray were shot dead.
This gave them an opportunity to shoot the other 4 who stood by Nathan.
However, before dropping dead one of them managed to shoot Beth's grandfather.
"GRANDPA!!" Both Ace and Beth screamed together in pain.
While Ace went to his grandfather to check on him, they heard an agonising scream.
Before any of them could react, Nathan Blake had already stabbed Beth thrice.
"BASTARD!! YOU WILL PAY!!" Raymond was burning in fury as he shot Nathan to his knee as he was trying to escape.
Ace just sat by his grandfather, now looking at his sister in pain. He couldn't process anything that was happening and fainted.
Maxwell called for more backup and medical help. But, Nathan had somehow managed to escape.
They rushed Ace, Beth and grandfather Jameson to the hospital.
All three in different rooms.
Soon Samuel arrived there along with Vic and the Jameson's. The Hills arrived shortly after.
None of them could process anything happening there. All the events were so sudden.
Samuel was trying to console his friend. Amelia was with Vic, both of them getting some coffee for everyone. While Maxwell was explained everything to the parents.
Devastated. Devastated was the only way to explain their situation.
Seline started crying. Llyod joined her Daniel and Adrianna kept their composure. They tried to be pillars for the others.
Amidst all this Ace woke up.
He came outside and saw the commotion. He still couldn't process that both his little sister as grandfather were hurt.
The doctor's soon came out of Grandfather's room.
They said thankfully he wasn't shot at a critical spot. But due to old age it may take time for him to wake up.
They were partly relieved that he was safe.
Annabeth however...the doctor's hadn't updated them on anything.
Raymond was now forcefully sent home. Samuel Wyatt decided to stay while Amelia accompanied Raymond home.
At the Hill residency, Desmond and Agent Hanako were waiting.
"I'm so very sorry for what happened to Annabeth." Hanako said. She was one of those who liked Beth.
"Brother, I'm... sorry...." Desmond said.
"(Sigh) No it's ok...what are you guys sorry for...." Raymond managed to say something.
"Ray...the doctor's haven't said anything. Annabeth will come back to us. To you." Amelia tried to cheer him up.
"Yeah... Melia can I please get some soup?" He asked.
"Ofcourse...you need energy you know. I'm glad you want to consume something."
"You guys do that while I get Bailey here." Desmond said.
"Sir I'm going to have to accompany you." Hanako said.
"But...why?" He asked.
"Order's... Nathan is still on the loose." Hanako said.
"I mean...I don't mind a beautiful lady accompanying me." Desmond winked as he said making Hanako blush a bit.
"Do your thing somewhere else dude...." Raymond said as he laid down on the couch.
Desmond and Hanako soon left.
-At the hospital -
"Aunty Sel...Anne is a strong woman. I am sure she'll wake up." Sam tried to lift Seline's spirit.
"He's right Sel. Our daughter is strong." Daniel said.
"She must be in so much pain..." Llyod said painfully as he shed tears.
"Is anyone here related to Annabeth Jameson?" The doctor asked.
This question sent shivers of panic down everyone's backs.
"Y-yes we're ger parents and these are her in-laws..." Daniel replied.
"I'm sorry to say but your daughter is no more..."
