The 4 families of the 4 friend's have joined for dinner to celebrate the return and huge beginning in the lives of their children, and to celebrate the 1st marriage anniversary of Raymond's older brother, Desmond.
"Congratulations"- wished the parents in chorus.
"Here's to new beginnings "- they made a toast and proceeded with their dinner.
- After a while -
" Excuse me please, I need to use the restroom." Stated Ray's mother, Adrianna Hill.
"Sure love" responded her husband.
-Womems restroom -
As Mrs. Hill was washing her hands, a strange lady approached her.
" Adrianna Joshua Hill beware of the future. You've made a grave mistake by letting her in. She will cause you a great loss. Nothing but sadness awaits you...."
"W-what? Let who i-in? Lady wha -"
She was interrupted by the lady.
"Take this as a fair warning child."
And just like that the old lady left.
She didn't have any specific features that would help in identifying her and she had a face that one would usually not remember. But, what she said is what made her seem.... unique yet creepy at the same time.
Adrianna, then returned to the table. She wore a puzzled look.
"Who -who was that lady...?" She mumbled to herself.
"Adrianna...are you ok?" Jay Wyatt enquired.
"Yeah, your face looks quite pale..." Added Seline, Annabeth's mother.
"O-oh yeah, I'm all good" She lied. She lied to not make anything look suspicious.
- phone ringing -
It was Ophelia's... Desmond's wife.
"I need to take this one." She excused herself and accepted the call.
Everyone looked at her for a brief moment, but, soon indulged in their own conversation.
The dinner party soon ended and the group of friends decided to have a sleepover at Samuel's place.
-The Wyatt residence -
"Your room hasn't changed one bit Sam. It's as messy as ever." Commented Anna.
"True..." Responded Ray.
"Haha yeah it's same as last time..."
"Oooohh~ last time..." Smirked Ray.
"What did you do last time Amelia?" Said Anna smugly.
Amelia was now considerably shy.
"Guys let's not, ok?" Interrupted Samuel.
"Protecting her? How cute!" Exclaimed Anna.
"Come on guys....let's all be civilised adults here." Amelia suggested.
"Uh-huhhh.... civilised adults she says" laughed Ray.
And it went on and on.
- Meanwhile at Hill residence -
" Ok...now that we are alone...tell us what happened back at the hotel..." Demanded Seline.
" Yeah you were so puzzled and your face...it was so pale, as if you saw a ghost.." added Daniel, Anna's father.
"(Sigh) I'll explain it all..." Adrianna responded.
She quickly brew her guests some coffee and as they sipped their beverage she explained what happened back then at the restroom.
The room was quite for sometime. Then Seline made a comment.
"It's more than a coincidence I say..."
"What do you mean?" Asked Llyod Hill.
" He was released right? He is definitely upto something. This just doesn't feel right...." Added Daniel.
"Yeah that's what I feel. I'm really worried..." Adrianna claimed.
"Considering everything, he's definitely not after us this time..." Commented Seline.
Llyod said:"Sel you don't mean-"
"That's exactly what I mean. He'll definitely try and target them."
"But wasn't he released like 5 years ago? Nothing happened in this span." Added Daniel.
"Hmm...true" Llyod agreed as he sipped his coffee.
"I don't think he would do anything suspicious right after getting out if prison. He must be waiting for the perfect opportunity..." The word's of a well experienced lawyer. Seline James.
" All we can do, is tell them everything and inform this to the Wyatt's and the Addam's.." concluded Llyod.
" We must warn them..." Daniel agreed.
" We will just have to hope and pray for now...." Adrianna hoped.
