He remained still and silent for a few seconds before returning the hug by placing his head on my shoulder, I was happy to have him so close and so changed from before..he seemed to be another person.

After a few minutes spent in silence we separated from each other, I immediately noticed a slight smile on his face that didn't last long, seeing the scene from another perspective nothing seemed to have happened just before, it seemed strange to me not feel embarrassed or something.

Was I finding it natural?

«Now I have some work to do..» He said almost in a sad tone, he didn't seem to want to part with me after what had just happened.

«Go ahead» I simply replied, when it came to work, especially military work, nothing should be held in abeyance in order not to create any kind of damage.

He nodded slightly, put his hand on my head and ruffled my hair before walking away. I stood still for a few minutes trying to realize everything that had happened in such a short time until I decided to follow his path.
As I walked towards the captain's office to see if I had anything to do, I saw Graves following Ghost towards a room I didn't recognize at first glance. I stopped to look at it, I was afraid of what could have happened in there, so I decided to take a chance and get close to eavesdrop, it was stupid but my curiosity was too much.

Hearing their footsteps approaching the door I decided to get away as quickly as possible trying to make as little noise as possible, their conversation had been far too peaceful for my taste, I was able to understand very little, but what I had understood made me thinking, it was strange, in part I didn't understand much of it.

Without realizing it, I found myself in front of Price's office, but that was okay, it was where I wanted to go. I knocked on the door very calmly waiting for him to give me the signal to enter, when he did I opened the door and entered.

«Sorry to bother Captain, but I wanted to ask if there was anything I could do now..» I said bluntly, I hated having free time and Price hated giving me something to do in it, but he was used to it by now.

«To my surprise there is nothing to do, but know that later I will talk to you and the others about a new mission»

«What mission?» I asked curious about his words.

«Keep your curiosity, you'll find out later together with the others»

«Why can't I get a preview?»

«Gladeon.»

«Price.»

«I repeat, you will know later together with the others, do not insist»

I sighed at his words and reopened the door «As you wish» I said leaving his office, usually when it came to basic missions he spoke to me, but if now he didn't intend to.. the mission would have been more dangerous than usual.

I stayed in my thoughts for a while until Soap opened the door to my room, I raised my head a little to be able to see him while my gaze became curious about his presence.

«The captain wants to talk to us» He said making me get out of bed, an hour had passed, or at least that was what I thought, it seemed like an eternity.

I followed him to the captain's office and then entered it, the others were already inside waiting for us, I stopped shortly after entering while Soap went to sit next to Ghost, a classic. I sighed as I turned to the wall behind me before leaning against it.
