"Man, how did I end up in this mess? I swear I have the worst luck." Ace said as he let out a sigh, ruffling his hair. [Name] bites their bottom lip, anxiety pooling in their stomach. For some odd reason, something is going to be wrong with this trip.

"We don't have time to complain, now let's go." Deuce quickly said before looking at the mirror, his arm outstretched to the mirror. "Dark Mirror! Take us to the Dwarfs Mine!"

The mirror glowed brightly before everything around them soon went dark for a couple of moments. [Name] almost panicked, but felt Grim clutching onto their leg, keeping them grounded.

Soon the group found themselves in an area where all there seems to be a cave and abandoned equipment used to mine.

"So this is the Dwarfs' Mines," Deuce said while looking around noticing pieces of broken equipment and noticing in the far distance a small house that was surrounded by green moss and dust. It looked abandoned for a few years.

"Ugh, who knows what's in here now?" Grim said as he gripped [Name]'s leg gazing at his surroundings in disgust. He doesn't want to get his coat dirty and planned to ask [Name] to help brush his fur clean. He does find pride in having a shining coat. It is one of his many good features.

"Hey look, I can see a house over there. Let's see what the people there have to say." Ace said as he walked towards the house as the others followed close behind not wanting to be left behind. Safety in numbers and all. [Name] couldn't help but think that the four are walking into a horror movie. So many things can go wrong now.

Once they were in front of the house Deuce gently knocked on the door. However, the door creaks open, letting out a creaking sound, doubling the tension throughout the group.

"Hello, is anyone home?" The blue-haired male said trying to be polite, a few moments passed but no sounds came from inside, and he fully opens the door. "Hm, it must be empty. It looks like it's been abandoned for quite a while now."

"Myah! I got a spider web on my face!" Grim said as he tried to clean the cobweb off his face only for [Name] to snap their fingers and a handkerchief appeared in their hand, they bend down and cleans the cat's face.

"Thanks, [Name]!"

"No problem, Grim," they reply softly.

Ace then crouched down as he noticed how small everything was, he gingerly picks up a small teacup. "Look how tiny these desks and chairs are. Did children live here?" He said before counting, his finger pointing at the small chair that no one except Grim could sit on it. "One, two...Seven!" He shouts in astonishment.

Looking around the house more, [Name] soon understood who this house belonged to. "This must of been their home, the dwarves, lived here. Probably left once the mine dried up." They look at the others nodding in agreement with their conclusion.

"When the mine was flourishing I'm sure this house was a lively place," Deuce said with a sad tone. He knew this home used to be so well-loved and lively.

"Well, this isn't getting us anywhere. If we're gonna find a magestone it's gonna be inside the mine. So let's head inside and take a look there." Ace said as he then walked out the door. However, [Name] knew it bother him a tiny bit, as he was uncomfortable staying in the old home.

"Well, he's not wrong..." Grim mumbles.

They stood in front of the entrance to the mine as [Name] looked around in total disgust. They do not want to take a step in. They didn't want to get their clothes dirty, even if they can get new ones with a snap of their fingers.

Grim looked scared as he gripped the ex-Avenger's leg without his claws coming out, which is soon becoming the norm when the feline is scared. "You actually wanna go inside there? It's pitch black!"
