The first time they tried it, the popcorn tasted like plastic. The second time, the texture was off. Like people say, "third time's the charm." Well, they lied, the popcorn tasted like expired apples. It took [Name] 2 more tries before the popcorn tasted like how it was supposed to. Nevertheless, it also meant that [Name] is able to make (good) food from their magic. It isn't all that surprising as they were able to make living animals with their powers. It shouldn't be out of their reach to make food. It does make it easier to stock the pantry to the brim with food and snacks. They made a mental note to taste test the food before putting it away, but that is a future problem for future them.

Right now they have to figure out what movie to play for Grim. They assume he wouldn't be able to handle horror movies, so that is out. Romance isn't something to interest the cat either. Perhaps, Disney movies are the way to go. If so, what movie? They consider The Lion King but decided not to. They cross out any movies with the villains the college supports, which means Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, Aladdin, Maleficent, The Little Mermaid, and Hercules are out.

"How about Finding Nemo?" [Name] questions themselves as they carefully carry the bowl filled with popcorn to the living room to see Grim making himself comfortable on the couch, leaving enough room for [Name] to sit down.

"Here!" [Name] exclaimed as they took a seat, making themself comfortable.

"Is that popcorn?" Grim asked as he looks at the inside of the bowl to see the white clouds. "What is it made of?"

"It is made from corn kernels that have been heated until they burst open and puff up." [Name] took a piece of popcorn and popped it into their mouth, savoring the flavor, and Grim followed suit, albeit reluctantly.

"Woah." Grim let out a surprised noise as he chewed the popcorn and could taste the flavor bursting in his mouth. "This is so good!"

To Grim's surprise, the popcorn tasted delicious, and he kept eating more and more, tunneling them into his stomach. [Name] couldn't help but giggle at the sight of Grim devouring the popcorn with such enthusiasm. They find the feline so cute.

Grim brushed off the crumbs around his mouth and turned to [Name], asking with interest, "Are we going to watch a movie?" [Name] responded with a nod and snapped their fingers, causing the flat-screen TV on the wall above the fireplace to turn on, displaying the familiar opening screen of the brand. [Name] watched Grim's face light up with fascination, relishing in the awe of the feline.

Satisfied with their performance, [Name] swirled their finger and summoned the TV remote, which materialized in front of them, hovering in the air. They clicked a button and the home screen of the TV appeared.

"I thought we could watch Finding Nemo," [Name] said as they click on the Disney icon. They knew that the movies that they plan to avoid having Grim watch won't show the villains, and they believe that Grim doesn't know the protagonist either. It should be easy to avoid his questions about it.

"What is it about?"

"You'll see," [Name] grins as they click on the Finding Nemo movie and press play. They place the remote next to them and willed their powers to make blankets, one big one for them and a small one for Grim. Grim let out a content sound as he snuggles into the blanket. The opening credits roll, accompanied by the orchestral soundtrack.

Grim snuggles up next to [Name], his eyes glued to the screen as he watches the clownfish Marlin searching for his son Nemo. The movie's bright colors and underwater scenery are captivating, and both of them are soon lost in the story.

When Marlin and his forgetful sidekick Dory meet the friendly sea turtle Crush and his son Squirt, Grim can't help but laugh at the laid-back turtles surfer talking. [Name] grins and chuckles along, happy to see Grim enjoying the movie.
