Chapter 12💌
On the shore~
Today was the annual young fisherman's cup. To see which team could reel in the biggest or the most
amount of fish by eclipse. You go in teams of two, chosen by Ronal and Toniwari. Which Nylah'a and Neteyam were praying they would get paired up with eachother.
"Ao'nung and Roxto." Ronal said picking out pairs.
"Kiri and-
Before Ronal could say anything else she cut her off.
"I'm my own partner, but Tuk my sister will be sticking by my side." Kiri stated.
"Okay then." Ronal replied.
Ronal walked around the rest of the kids picking out pairs.
"Tsireya and I are going to beat your arse." Lo'ak laughed.
"In your dreams, bro." Neteyam replied back.
Just as Ronal got to them something unexpected happened.
"Lo'ak and Nylah'a." Ronal pointed out. "Neteyam and Tsireya.
"Mother." Nylah'a said softly.
"It is decided." Ronal cut her off.
Ao'nung laughed.
"The hunt will begin soon." Toniwari announced.
Neteyam turned to Nylah'a and grabbed her hands.
"Wish I was the one spending the whole day with you, not my brother." Neteyam said sincerely.
"Might be a good chance to get to know him better, I mean if we are getting closer after all." Nylah'a replied.
"Just don't let him flirt with you, he's good at that." Neteyam said with a serious tone.
"Scared I won't be able to resist the charms of another Sully boy, are we?" Nylah'a joked.
"No, I trust you more than anything." Neteyam replied sincerely.
Neteyam kissed Nylah'a's cheek and they began to go seperate ways and gather equipment.
"Take care of him for me Sister." Nylah'a said to Tsireya.
"You don't have to worry Ny, I plan to get all his juicy feelings out of him today." Tsireya said with excitement.
"That's why I love you." Nylah'a said before running off to find Lo'ak.
"Are you ready?" Nylah'a asked Lo'ak.
"Ready to spend a whole day out on the reef with my brothers girl?" Lo'ak asked sarcastically.
"I just got one thing to say." Nylah'a announced. "We have to win this."
"I was just going to say the same thing." Lo'ak replied.
"I know a secret spot were the fish are huge, but we aren't supposed to go there so we have to be sneaky and quick." Nylah'a told Lo'ak the plan.
"Sneaky and Quick are my middle names." Lo'ak joked.
"Let's go." Nylah'a began to speed of on her ilu.
"Yip Yip Yip." Lo'ak yelled racing off behind her.
