Chapter 9

The more time passed the less Kamol came back and then it was only very rarely when Ivan wanted him for something Urgent and during that time both avoided Danil other than the family formalities...

Danil kept expecting Kamol to lean back into their arrangement because he knew no one would be able to keep up with Kamol's roughness.. he knew that no one would be able to do the same with him... he wouldn't be able to trust anyone as much to just hand them the rains like that again...

Ivan's relationship with Lilian was still away from Danil... something Lilian expected to end but it kept going...

Danil rebelled as badly as he could... he wanted to be happy... except that he looked for it in all the wrong places...

He and Ivan drifted apart... without the ability to see beyond the other's anger... He was angry at Ivan for pushing him out of his life and Ivan was angry with him for not trying to mature up...

it went on for months... and the more time went by it became harder for them to approach the subject and consolidate it...

Till he heard rumors about Kamol's new lover, at the begining he dismissed them as rumors... no one would be able to keep up with Kamol and he knew that over time all his trials to find someone else to replace him had failed miserably... he kept eyes and ears wide open...

but then he heard more and more... said lover was now living with him in the mansion... and the attempted kidnapping...

it all came down to him hearing Ivan speaking with Kamol about retiring... and all hell broke lose for him...

He took his most trusted men and headed to Thailand, except that Kamol was on vacation... he almost scoffed at the notion... Kamol and Vacation aren't something that can be associated together...

He forced his way in the house and stayed there, waiting for them to return... he would have to push that boy toy away and take back what was his, or he would burn it all to the ground... he would no longer tolerate being on the losing side...

He got ready and waited for Kamol... he saw the belongings of said lover scattered all around the room... he was making himself home then.. he was tempted to throw them all away... tear it all apart... but time had taught him that throwing a tantrum with Kamol cannot get him anyway...

He saw Kamol carrying Kim inside and something in his head just erupted in flames of anger and Jealousy..

except that Kim was not someone who can be easily taken down... he had a personality and a backbone... he didn't care about what Kamol did or done... he said what he wanted and met Danil head-on... the entire house seemed hell-bent over protecting him as well...

his emotions went out of hand when he saw the picture of him and Ivan with Kamol from that day on Kamol's desk... he smashed it to the floor... Kamol was not allowed to keep pretending he cared when he didn't ... he was not throwing Ivan away... he was throwing everything away and his life and for one... just a boy ... and a boy who was not Danil...

He tried to seduce Kamol, openly and without shame... what he cannot get with trickery he can get with something else... except that Kamol openly refused...

threatening Kim didn't work, making his life a living hell didn't as well...

until he saw Ivan in the Casino and knew that his time was limited... he had to figure something out or he would literally lose everything this time...

Ivan told him openly to mind his own business, and that whether Kamol retired or not was none of his concerns...

So Danil started scheming... he stayed in his room for days and dug all the dirt he could find on Kim... he was not impressed... The boy had brains, so what...
