Chapter 11

It all started as a usual day in the company... Danil had a meeting with his brother in the morning before making his way to his own office... he heard a commotion when he was about to get out of the elevator on his floor...

"Hey, What's this all about, who is making this noise?"

Danil shouted when he heard the commotion coming from his secretary's office and saw a couple of his employees shouting along with a stranger he didn't see before...

All three of them stopped talking and his employees looked at him sheepishly...

"Explain yourselves right now..."

"Mr. Danil... We didn't mean to cause a scene..."

"Mr. Danil ? This is Mr. Danil ?"

A man with brilliant blue eyes looked at Danil. He was wearing a dark blue coat, over what looked to be black pants and a white shirt... Danil's gaze took him in before shifting back to his employees...

"Well ?"

"Mr. Patrick Lenard, here, is trying to cause an issue because we refuse to deal with his company..."

"Now, Now, that's not true... you had a contract with me, took the cargo and then the payment never came..."

"That's not true, we told you that we already sent that payment..."

"SILENCE !!"

Everyone stopped talking when Danil shouted...

"My office, NOW!!"

He pointed to his secretary and asked her to get all the transactions that came and went to Mr. Patrick's company since they started dealing with theirs... and he saw one of his employees pale...

Everyone stepped into the office including Patrick who stood awkwardly... when he saw Danil angry...

"You have 10 minutes to get your files and consider your side of the story and come back to the meeting room... Now leave...Mr. Patrick, I suggest you call your accountant and check closely... we both are getting to the bottom of this..."

Partick looked alarmed at being addressed before he pulled his phone out of his pocket and texted someone...

"He will be here in five with the documents proving that the transaction never happened.."

"Good... now if you please, my assistant, will guide you to the meeting room, please wait there till I come to you..."

"Thank you... I can..."

"Please, Mr. Patrick... no one is leaving till we end this today..."

Patrick's eyes had a glimmer of something in them before he followed Danil's assistant to the meeting room...

Danil sat at his desk and called his brother...

"Yes?''

"We might be having a thief here..."

"Again ?"

"Yeah... again... a Patrick Lenard was causing a commotion because he didn't receive his payment..."

"Lenard you say ?"

"yeah... you know him ?"

"I know his father... I heard he had his own winery and vines... he is a friend..."

Danil grumbled... it's bad when it's a normal company, now it's a mafia-related company...

"I will send you some men, just in case... "

"I don't mind, but I don't think anything would happen anyway..."

"Better Safe, brother..."

"See you at dinner with Lily..."
