"Why not!" Kay groaned.

"I'm pretty sure your other friend's moms wouldn't allow it. I wouldn't want it to be..." She was coming at a loss of words.

"Better?" She inserted. She grinned at her and walked past her daughter. She wore old, worn clothes that she didn't care about to garden in. She picked up her mini shovel and dug up a daisy.

"It's just Liam, everybody loves Liam!"

"I know but, maybe you guys can have your own private sleepover the day after?" Kay nods a little. "And no Jay at the sleepover either,"

"But Mom!" She complains once again.

"I never met his mom, I never even met him." She restricted.

"He's pretty sweet," Her mom grins at her. "Ew, not that way!" She makes a sour face.

"Maybe some other time, this is not the greatest time to invite people I don't know." Her mother sang, she tugged on her daughters chin and kissed her on the cheek.

"Okay..."

"This sucks," Lauren sighed. 4 of them crowded Kay's room, they ran out of fun things to do.

"Not really," Alexa said, but she was glued to the Ipod she had in her hands.

"Is so," Lauren retorted. Alexa swiftly grab Kay's purple pillow and whipped it at Lauren. She had no time to react and it full blown hit her face.

Lauren shrieked. "PILLOW FIGHT!" She quickly stood up and threw the pillow back at Alexa.

Her room became complete horror. Especially for Carmen in the back corner minding her own business.

Liam lay in bed, wondering how much fun they were having without him. He respected her mother a lot and this he could understand but he couldn't bare without being with Kay.

He was just glad his father wasn't home, once again, in the hospital. His auntie decided to watch him, only because she felt bad. She never stopped by for family holidays or gave any presents. Just this one gift to watch him so her brother-in-law won't get into trouble. He can always her them at night though, doing something.

He thinks he could've died when his mom died. Or saved her at the least. He knew his fears always scared him, and he trembled as his father quaked. He shoved him out of the way, Liam's shoulder putting a hole into the corridor wall. He screamed as the pain ached and told Mom to run as he heard her walk into the door. But she didn't.

He never understood his father he never understood how one man so fast could chug so much liquor.
