Once we used to talk all the time,
Laughing and having so much fun.
But now things have changed with no reason or rhyme,
It's like we were never best friends at all.
I'm so lonely and I have no friends,
Just walking alone in the night.
Going to the places we used to go,
Will it ever be like before?
The days seem so long without you here,
Echoes of laughter fill my heart with fear.
As I walk around in this empty town,
I realize that our friendship is dead and gone.
We never said goodbye, we just drifted apart,
Our memories together are etched in my heart.
I still think of you and all the fun we had,
I know that our friendship is not coming back;
Because, I know deep down it was toxic and bad.
