I felt someone nudging me and I slowly opened my eyes, it was still pitch black outside so I knew it had to be night or early morning. I saw Wilbur and blushed a bit, "What the hell, Wil?" I asked, Wilbur kissed me and said, "Come with me, I wanted show you something."

I slowly got up and asked, "First of all what time even is it? And second of all, do you have a coat I can borrow?" Wilbur quickly placed his old outcast coat around my shoulders and kissed my forehead as he replied, "That does not matter, my dear. I want to show you something."

He then gently pulled me up and realized how sleepy I still was, "Would you prefer it if I just carried you there?" He asked. "Yes, please." I answered with a nod, Wilbur then wrapped an arm around my waist and carried me bridal style to wherever he was taking me.

While he was carrying me I placed my head on his chest, Wilbur blushed a little but kept walking, he was warm enough to have me forget about how cold it was. We were walking through some plains when Wilbur finally stopped walking.

"This is the ruins of my country, a place where men could come to emancipate." Wilbur said as he placed me down on the ground. He kissed my forehead and hugged me tightly, I hugged him back and asked, "Why did you bring me here, Wil?"

I never noticed how his brown curly hair would shine just enough for the white streak in his hair to basically glow in the dimmed moonlight. "I wanted to dance with you." Wilbur answered, he then placed his arm around my waist and used his other hand to hold mine.

"Like, a tango?" I asked, Wilbur nodded and kissed my nose. "I want everyone to be jealous of us, and if anyone even tries to hurt you. They'll regret it." Wilbur replied.

On the one hand his possessive personality was kind of cute, but it also extremely terrifying. The clouds in the sky moved out of the way and the moon began to shine brightly onto us.

Wilbur held his hand out to me and said, "Malady." I giggled a bit before placing my hand in his. He then pulled me in close and we began to dance in the moonlight.

I must say, Wilbur was quite the dancer. I was basically following him for our dance. Everything was going fine until we heard someone clap, Wilbur seemed to know who it was immediately because he quickly put his arms around my tightly.

A shadowy figure appeared under a nearby tree, I couldn't see the figure's facial features but Wilbur held me tighter like this person was going to take me. "What the hell do you want?!" Wilbur asked. He was somehow holding me even tighter at this point.

The figure let out one of those classic evil laughs you'd hear in every movie and then stepped out from the shadows. I then realized why Wilbur was being so protective.

~Flash back

"Seriously Y/n, you need to be careful of him." Karl said, the two had been talking for hours about this figure, they wouldn't say his name other than when Karl had to say who he was to Y/n. Karl told her about the crimes he'd done, the two people he would usually be seen with, and most importantly, how dangerous this guy was.

"So wait, this dude has two friends that basically blindly follow him around and threatened to overthrow L'Manberg before it got blown to pieces?" Y/n asked. Karl nodded and had to yet again explain his concerns about her going off to find Wilbur.

Now here Y/n was, seeing the person she feared of seeing most...

~End of flash back~

"Dream..." I said, I drew it out for dramatic effect. Wilbur grabbed my waist tightly as Dream laughed, "Wilbur, you owe me a favor, remember? For reviving your sorry spirit?" He said. I looked at Wilbur, the poor guy who once looked so tough was basically holding onto me like Dream was going to take me from him.

"Can't this wait? How the hell did you even break out of prison anyway?" Wilbur asked, "I'm sorry, prison?" I interrupted, Wilbur gently made me put my head against his chest and Dream laughed again, "That's why I'm here. I broke out so now I'm on the run from Sam, so I'm going to need my favor now." He said.

Wilbur covered my ears so I couldn't hear the rest of the conversation, all I know is that Dream suddenly ran off and left Wilbur and me a bit shaken up from what just happened.

Wilbur kissed my forehead and broke the silence, "Let's head home, alright?" I nodded slowly and hugged Wilbur, he hugged me back so tightly that I thought I was going to get crushed.

"Want me to carry you home, dear?" Wilbur whispered into my ear, I nodded and we then made our way home.

Once we had gotten home we saw a tall figure at Wilbur's door. "What the hell?" Wilbur quietly said, I hugged him and whispered, "What is that?" The figure scurried away before he could figure out what it was.

We made our way inside and Wilbur pulled me in close, I could feel his hot breath going onto my face, which was quite nice because of how cold it was outside. Wilbur leaned in close and whispered, "Please don't leave me." I hugged him tightly and whispered, "I won't."

Wilbur suddenly picked me up and carried me over to where I was sleeping earlier, "Alright, dear. Let's go to bed." He said, I nodded and got out of Wilbur's arms. I got in my makeshift sleeping bag and closed my eyes, I then felt Wilbur get in my sleeping bag as well and put his arms around my waist.

My face quickly became flushed with a deep red and Wilbur kissed my cheek, "Sweet dreams, dear." He whispered into my ear. Shortly afterwards I fell asleep without any warning.
