Chapter 5
I began to shiver. My Mom and Dad had caught me almost kissing my guy friend! What were they doing-strolling around, playing security for their teenage daughter?
"Dad! Mom! I can't believe you guys followed me out here!" I screamed.
They stared at me like idiots!
"It's not our fault you left without permission with this....DOG!" Dad shouted. I winced and Jacob growled.
Suddenly, Seth and Leah appeared from the water, grinning. When they saw the angry expressions on our faces, the siblings gasped and ran away towards the town. They were obviously smart enough not to hang around angry vampires and a werewolf. Mom and Dad turned towards me again. "You are grounded, Renesmee! And you, Jacob, are never allowed near our daughter again!" Mom shouted.
"No!" Jacob and I cried out in unison.
Mom held up her hand.
"I'm sorry, it must be done!" She told us. Then, she and Dad dragged me to shore. After that, my whole family and I drove away, leaving Jacob in the dust.
