My husband is standing here in front of me and I'm not sure how to act.  I'm still upset about how he talked to me, but I understand now that he was under a lot of pressure from all sides.  He could have just communicated with me when he first found out what was going on.  I wouldn't have bothered him.  I know it's hard for him to deal with both me and Keisha sometimes.

"I'm feeling better.  Thanks for asking.  How are you?  How's Keisha and the baby?"

I'm not heartless, I do care about her well-being.

"I'm okay.  Keisha is good, but I haven't heard from Brody with an update on Asia.  She has cardiomyopathy, a rare form.  He didn't give me much information but I have done some research and I'm worried that she will need to have surgery in the future."

"I'm sorry she is going through that.  We are going to pray that it all goes well and that she is healed.  I know in worst case scenarios surgery and even heart transplants are done.  If Brody is her doctor I'm sure he is doing everything in his power to help her."

"Yeah, I'm sure he is.  I wish he would communicate with me a little more.  Not knowing is killing me."

"Why don't you sit down?  I can text him for you.  I don't mind."

He's standing by the door, he didn't even greet me with a hug or a kiss.  That's different and it kind of hurts my feelings.

BabyLay:  Hey.  How are you?  You didn't show up to my shower, I missed you.

"So, I heard that you have been having anxiety attacks, do you want to talk about it?"

"No.  It's nothing serious.  You have more important things to worry about.

CrazyBro:  Baby sis, I apologize for missing out, but I have been swamped with a new case.  It's pretty serious and it's the smallest baby I've seen with the condition.

"Sweetheart, anything dealing with your health is serious.  I'm sorry for what I said yesterday.  I know I must have made you think I didn't care about you or our baby, but it's the farthest from the truth."

BabyLay:  I heard about Asia, Brody.  Why haven't you been keeping Ken updated on her condition?

"I know.  You were just upset.  It's okay."

"It's not okay.  I was out of line and I am sorry.  I'm truly sorry.  I shouldn't have directed my anger towards you.  Can you forgive me?"

CrazyBro:  I didn't want to send Keisha into a hysterical state.  If you know about the baby, you know she was suffering from hypertension and she almost bled out before Dr. Jeff was able to stitch her up.  She does not need any form of stress until she heals really.

"I can forgive you but there's nothing to forgive.  I told you that I understood the situation. It's okay, don't worry about me.  Focus on your baby girl getting better and going home."

BabyLay:  Well can't you just update Roman and they can let her know later?

"Layla, look at me.  Asia is going through a lot and it's new territory, for all of us.  But you and our baby are also going through something.  I know I made you feel like I didn't care, but I do.  You are trying to avoid talking about it but I want you to know that I care about you and our baby just as much."

I don't want to talk about it.  I just want an 'us' moment.  Just us, our baby.  He's not going to let it go so I might as well tell him how I feel.

"You hurt my feelings.  Made me feel like we don't matter.  You never break promises, but lately you have broken plenty.  I wouldn't have been upset if you said you made a promise to Asia, but you said it was to Keisha.  You may not remember but most of the conversation was about Keisha."
