I have a fucking headache and ready for the day to be over already. This is supposed to be a happy experience but this bitch is pissing me off already. We are supposed to be meeting with this marketing genius. It took me too fucking long to get this appointment, and I don't want anything to fuck it up.
My team coming with me consists of my mother Diamond, my personal assistant Kelsey, and my babymama Shauntie. She's only here because she represents my son's interest in my company. She's also a pretty good damn attorney, when she is not being an ass.
She has a fucking attitude because I refused to fuck her last night after I noticed the damn rubber had holes in it. I slipped up and got her ass pregnant the first time, but I'll be damned if I did it again. This bitch gets fifteen thousand in child support each month, but I pay for most everything my son needs. The system is broken and prejudiced against men trying to do the right thing. All these bum ass niggas who don't give a fuck a getting a slap on the damn wrist. None of that money goes to benefit my son.
"I don't need this to fail. If I lose this connection, I'm going to lose a shit load of money that I prefer to keep. Everybody better be on their shit and keep their mouth closed until you are asked a question."
I look her bitter ass dead in the eyes. If she fucks this up, I'll kill her ass and keep that money each month.
"Don't worry son. I told you that I delivered the CEO's daughter. He has been making investments since he was a teenager. I'm sure he will help you. You can connect like the nerds you are."
She has jokes but I love this woman to death. She had three boys, my oldest brother was killed. My youngest brother has severe asthmas and she had to take on all of his medical bills along with our expenses. She even raised my cousin. She was a registered nurse but she wanted to be a midwife. She would be up all night studying and then trying to figure out what bills could get paid and what couldn't. There were nights that I went to bed hungry because I wanted to make sure that she had something.
My only goal when I got old enough was to make sure that my mama was able to achieve her goals and never had to worry about how she would get the money to pay for anything. I appreciate the sacrifices she made, and I don't have a problem spoiling the hell out of her.
"Mama, how many years ago was that? How do you know this man has not changed?"
"Preston, trust me, I know. He was incredibly nice, him and his brother. They even helped me out with some of my bills during that time. You can't just lose that overnight. It was genuine."
Shauntie opens her mouth.
"Diamond, how do you know that's who we are meeting with?"
I look at her giving her a warning because I don't play about my mama. I'll slap the fuck out of her real quick.
"Shauntie, the email said K. Allen. The company's name is Allen Marketing and Investments. His name was Kekino. It has to be him."
"I'm with Shauntie, Ms. Diamond. It could just be a coincidence. Did you pull up a picture?"
Kelsey is the only person I trust handling this side of my business. She looks out of place when she's with us, but she knows her shit. She's a tall skinny white girl who will shank your ass if you step to her.
"I know it's him. I just have a good feeling about it. I wonder what his daughter looks like now? She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen. She almost looked like a doll. I could never forget those eyes. They were amber but sometimes they would take on other colors. They reminded me of yellow diamonds."
