JJ's pov
"Now there's my Shelby." She laughed. I just rolled my eyes. "Where were the cigarettes? I thought I found all your hiding spots." I tapped the ash away and shook my head. "Under the docks" I stated when Sophie got a text. "Peter says to "Keep a lookout for agent Jareau, her team is looking for her." I assume that why you're out here." I didn't say anything."Well your head is good to go so why don't we join them." I scoffed and put the cigarette to my lips again. "Okay, that's enough of that." Sophie said as she took it out of my mouth and put it out on the dock. "What the hell?" She grabbed my arm and pulled me up. "No smoking on campus. Now do you want to walk or should I carry you?" She asked
I scoffed at the thought, she couldn't and she wouldn't. Sophie shrugged, grabbed my arm again and threw me over her shoulder. "You may be older but I can still do this." I tried kicking and getting out but it didn't work. "I swear to god, let go of me." She ignored me and brought me back to the main building. She opened the door and everyone stared at her.
"Sophie I swear to god." I yelled. Finally, she flipped me over and threw me on the couch. "Sophie, what are you doing?" Peter asked. "You can't do that, she's not a student." Sophie smiled as I stood up. "Right. That's a little hard to explain. Agent Jareau, would you like to explain?" I tried to storm off when Hotch came in. Perfect. Just perfect.
"JJ, what the hell were you thinking?" He yelled. I laughed and turned towards him, matching his anger. "Maybe I thought about how you sent me in with nothing. He attacked me and I defended myself." He shook his head and I saw Emily at the door. "That wasn't defense, that was anger. For someone that has no sympathy towards Shelby, you really hated Walt." Emily added.
I could feel Sophie staring at me. "Maybe if she wasn't a weak whore, I would care." I tried to leave but Emily grabbed my arm. "What the fuck is wrong with you? I've never seen you like this." I yanked my arm back and tried to leave but the Cliffhangers were at the door. I tried pushing past but Ezra was in my way. "Get out of my way Freiken, jesus."
Shit.
Daisy grabbed my arm and pulled me back to the middle of the room. "What did you call him?" She asked, I couldn't tell if she was mad, surprised or both. I ignored her and turned around but Morgan stopped me. "What the hell is going on Jareau?" Sophie looked at me and nodded. "Shut the hell up. This isn't your life so butt out Soph."
Peter stepped in front of her, defending her. "I don't know who you think you are but you can't speak to her like that." I rolled my eyes and looked around, trying to find a way out. "Yeah, who are you?" Daisy asked. I felt tears in my eyes but I was not going to cry. Not in front of all of them.
"Jen, what are they talking about." Emily asked, making me turn to her. "Em. I-," I tried to say but I couldn't get anything out of my throat. "Tell them." Sophie said. I shook my head and bit my tongue. "Tell us what? Why didn't you stick to the plan?" Penelope asked. I looked from her to Emily, I wasn't going to break. Not now. I walked towards Penelope slowly, I'm running.
She softened a bit as I got closer and when I saw my chance I sprinted towards the door. None of the cars had keys so I went for the woods, I knew the woods. Sophie was yelling at me to stop but I kept running. I had to go. Go anywhere. Luckily it was getting dark so it would be a harder time to find me.
I ran through the woods, I don't know where I was aiming for. It's not like I could get anywhere. I came to the side of the mountain and took a breath. I couldn't keep going, but I had to. When I heard Emily screaming for me, I took off again. My best bet was sneaking back to camp and stealing a car. I made a big circle and found the path I had run the other day.
When I got back to the high school, I peaked in the windows of our cabin and it was empty. I went inside and looked for the keys, they had to be somewhere. "Jen?" I whipped around to see Emily standing behind me. "Em." She put her jacket on the bed and walked towards me. "What is going on?"
