Y/N nervously walked to the witness stand and took a deep breath. The room was quiet, except for the sound of the judge shuffling papers. Niki sat at the defendant's table, staring at Y/N with a cold, calculating look.

"Please state your name for the record," the judge said.

"Y/N," Y/N replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Can you tell us what you witnessed on the night of the incident?" the judge asked.

Y/N took another deep breath and began to speak. She recounted the events of that fateful night, from the break-in to Niki's attack. She described Niki's obsessive behavior and the frightening gifts he had given her.

Niki's lawyer cross-examined Y/N, trying to poke holes in her story. But Y/N remained steadfast in her testimony, determined to see justice served.

After several hours of testimony, the judge adjourned for the day. Y/N was relieved to step down from the stand, but the trial was far from over. She knew that the coming days would be even more difficult, but she was ready to see it through.

Y/N took a deep breath before answering. "Yes, Your Honor. Niki had been stalking me for several weeks leading up to the break-in. I had repeatedly told him to stop, but he didn't listen."

"And can you tell us about the break-in itself?" the prosecutor asked.

Y/N recounted the events of that night, describing how Niki had broken into her home and threatened her with a knife. "I was terrified," Y/N said. "I honestly thought he was going to kill me."

The defense attorney then began their cross-examination. They tried to paint Y/N as an unreliable witness, questioning her memory of the events and suggesting that she may have exaggerated or even fabricated some of the details. But Y/N remained calm and composed throughout the questioning, sticking to her story and providing clear, concise answers.

As the trial continued, more witnesses were called to testify, including several of Niki's former friends and acquaintances who described her increasingly erratic and obsessive behavior in the months leading up to the break-in. The evidence against Niki was overwhelming, and it quickly became clear that she was going to be found guilty.

Finally, after several days of testimony and deliberation, the verdict was announced. Niki was found guilty of stalking, breaking and entering, and assault with a deadly weapon. She was sentenced to several years in prison, and Y/N was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that she was safe from Niki's dangerous obsession.

The trial may have been over, but Y/N knew that the scars left by Niki's actions would take much longer to heal. However, with the support of her loved ones and the knowledge that justice had been served, Y/N was determined to move forward and live her life to the fullest.
