Y/N sat nervously in the interrogation room, waiting for the detectives to come back. Suddenly, the door opened, and in walked Detective Jones and his partner.

Detective Jones: "Well, well, well, look who we have here. You thought you could get away with it, didn't you?"

Y/N: "I didn't do anything! I swear!"

Detective Jones: "Save it, sweetheart. We found your fingerprints all over the murder weapon, and we have a witness who saw you leaving the scene of the crime."

Y/N: "But I didn't kill anyone! You have to believe me!"

Detective Jones: "Sorry, but the evidence speaks for itself. You're under arrest for the murder of Niki."

Y/N: "No, you've got it all wrong! I didn't do it!"

Detective Jones: "Tell it to the judge."

As the detectives led Y/N out of the room, Y/N couldn't believe what was happening. How could this have gone so wrong?

Niki was taken into custody and charged with multiple counts of kidnapping, assault, and murder. The evidence against her was overwhelming, and she was found guilty on all charges.

As Y/N left the courthouse, she was surrounded by reporters asking for a statement. She took a deep breath and faced the cameras.

"I'm grateful for the justice system and for all the hard work the police and investigators put into this case," she said, her voice shaking slightly. "I want to thank everyone who supported me and helped me through this nightmare. I hope that this verdict will bring closure to the families of Niki's victims and that they can find peace knowing that she will never hurt anyone again."

Y/N turned to walk away, but one reporter called out to her, "Do you have anything to say to Niki?"

Y/N stopped and turned back to face the reporter. "I hope that she realizes the gravity of what she has done and that she spends the rest of her life reflecting on the harm she has caused. I also hope that she gets the help she needs to change and become a better person."

With that, Y/N walked away, leaving the reporters behind her.

She felt a mix of emotions as she made her way home. Relief, that Niki was finally behind bars and that she was safe. Sadness, for all the lives that were lost and the trauma she had experienced. But also hope, that she could finally move on with her life and heal from the scars of the past.

Niki's eyes widened in shock as the officers escorted her out of the building and into a waiting police car. Y/N watched as the car drove away, relief washing over her. She couldn't believe that the nightmare was finally over.

As Y/N turned to leave, she heard her name being called. She looked back to see one of the officers walking towards her. "Miss, we found this on Niki when we arrested her," he said, holding out a small envelope.

Y/N hesitated before taking the envelope, wondering what it could be. Inside, she found a note with Niki's handwriting:

"I may be behind bars, but I'm not done with you yet. You'll see, sunshine. You belong to me forever."

Y/N's heart raced as she read the words. She couldn't believe that Niki still had a hold on her even from jail. She knew that she would have to be careful and watch her back from now on.

As Y/N walked away from the police station, she couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and empowerment. She had faced her fears and come out on top. She knew that she could never let anyone control her life again.

Y/N watched as the officers led Niki away in handcuffs. The reality of what had just happened hit her like a ton of bricks, and she sank to the ground, tears streaming down her face.

One of the officers approached her, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay, miss?" he asked.

Y/N shook her head, unable to speak through her sobs. The officer offered her a tissue, and she took it gratefully.

"I know this must be tough, but you're safe now," he said kindly.

Y/N nodded, wiping her tears away. "Thank you," she managed to whisper.

The officers took Y/N's statement and collected evidence from the scene. As they were finishing up, one of them approached her. "We found something interesting," he said. "There was a hidden camera in your living room that recorded everything that happened."

Y/N's heart sank. "What did it show?" she asked.

"It showed Niki breaking in and attacking you," the officer said. "It's damning evidence against her. With your testimony and this footage, we have a strong case."

Relief flooded through Y/N. She couldn't believe that it was finally over. She would be able to sleep soundly for the first time in weeks.

The officers escorted Y/N back into her house to collect her things. As she packed, she couldn't help but feel grateful to the people who had helped her through this ordeal.

She picked up her phone and dialed a number. "Hey, it's me," she said when the call connected. "I wanted to say thank you. Without you, I don't know what would have happened."

On the other end of the line, her friend's voice was filled with relief. "I'm just glad you're safe," they said. "We'll be there soon to help you pack up and get out of there."

Y/N smiled, feeling a weight lift off of her shoulders. She had made it through this nightmare, and she knew that with her friends by her side, she would be able to start healing.

After a few moments, Niki finally spoke up. "You know, I never thought I'd actually get caught."

Y/N looked at her incredulously. "What did you expect? That you could just get away with everything?"

Niki shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I was just in too deep. But I don't regret anything. It was worth it."

Y/N shook their head, feeling a mix of anger and disbelief. "How could you say that? You ruined people's lives, including mine. And for what? Money? Power? It's not worth it."

Niki just smiled smugly. "You wouldn't understand. You're too soft. You'll never survive in this world if you can't make tough decisions."

Y/N scoffed. "I'd rather be 'soft' than be a heartless criminal like you."

The two fell into silence again, with Niki staring off into the distance while Y/N glared at her.

Finally, the sound of approaching footsteps interrupted their standoff. Two police officers walked up to them, one of them taking hold of Niki's arm.

"Let's go, miss," the officer said, leading her away.

Y/N watched as Niki was escorted into a police car and driven away. It was finally over.
