Chapter 8

Ally PoV

I leave her room. I go next doors to hers in my room and get myself ready to go to bed. It's been a long day. My men can't find the step father anywhere.

I need to ask her later on today since it's like 2 in the morning and ask her what he exactly did so I know how to punish him when I find him.

I want my old Evie back. The one that used to cry every time I left her when putting her to bed. That one that always ended up on my bed in the morning. The happy smiley one that me and Matteo used to bath and she would run away from us.

When mum took her from us I tried and begged dad to let us take her back but dad just said she was a waste of space and this is no place for a stupid girl. His words made me punch him in the jaw.

We all hate out parents and I know you all say but do you really and the answer to that is yes we really do.

About 5 months after Evie was taken dad went missing and we didn't bother looking for him.

I am now the mafia leader and we are doing better than ever.

Pulling me out my thoughts I hear a little knock on my door

"Ally" comes a little voice. This reminds me of the old times. She would always do this.

"Come in" i say. She walks in with my hoodie down to her knees. She looks really tired.

"Can I sleep with you" she asks

"Of course you can baby what's wrong" I say moving over on the bed to make room for her.

"Im scared of my nightmares there really bad sometimes" she says getting into bed.

I just put my arm round her and she cuddles into my chest.

"It's all right baby I'm not going anywhere" I say stroking her back.

I can tell she has fallen asleep how her breathing is relaxed and her body.

I love having her In my arms. It reminds me I need to check her grades. It doesn't matter how dumb or smart she is as long as she is good at something. I mean Rick is good at painting bit sucks at everything else the twins are good at sport but other than that dumb. Us older 3 though are really smart academically. I carefully get out my phone to not wake Evie up. I hack into the school system so I can read all the teacher notes and what not.

I get into it and I'm shocked she was the top in the school. Before we got her I obviously got custody of her and now I'm her legal guardian. I basically raised her no screw that I did raise her for 3 years.

I feed her I bathed her I got her dressed and helped her learn songs. I drew with her and we went to the beach together. She loved the beach.  The first time I saw her in the incubator was the happiest day of my life. We looked exactly the same and I could tell the others where jealous. Only me and her have the blue eyes not dad or mum or anyone in the family. We have the exact same hair colour and facial features.

Thinking I couldn't protect her all those years was hard but when I finally found her I went straight to get custody of her.

I know it's dangerous having her live with us because females are seen as weaknesses in the mafia world. And I would do anything for Evie.

She was the first born girl in our family for 150 years and except her aunts who all have sadly gone and passed due to a old war in the mafia between the Russian mafia. So she is the only girl in the family. She has 12 cousins and 4 uncles. They are all really nice and all hate our parents.

It's currently half term and she has a week till school so I will put her in the same school as her brothers and cousins.

I will inform them all in the morning but right now I will get some sleep.
