Character: Vil Schoenheit

CW: Fake cuts, Fake blood, Mentions of hell, Prop weapons

A/N:

Enjoy this modern AU, and my terrible knowledge of what goes on behind scenes of movies. 🙃

.:Reader's POV:.

"Alright, and cut!" yelled the director, I took a deep breath and exhaled, leaving the set to go to my room. In there was Epel, an old friend of mine. "I thought you left to go get food?" I asked, sitting in front of my vanity and washing my face a little. "I did, but it was just fast food." I hummed "I got you some food too." he said, putting a paper bag on the small table near me. "Did you ge-!" "Yes, I got you your favorite." Epel said as he went on his phone. "Hey, Y/N, do you have your script?" he asked, I shook my head.

"No, but I could tell you what the next act is!" I chirped, Epel nodded and turned off his phone. "Well basically, the villain, Vil. Is fighting the hero, me." Epel hummed. "That's all?" he asked, I shrugged before turning around and looking at Epel. "Well, there are some lines that imply that the villain and hero have something together, but it's all just for the views." I said. Epel hummed and turned his phone back on "You have about ten more minutes until you have to go back. I sighed "I think you can go on the set this time." I said, Epel nodded.

Minutes passed and me and Epel headed back to the set. People were rushing around, checking some of the lights, smoke machines, etcetera. The normal. "Wow, this set is huge!" Epel exclaimed, looking around. I nodded looking around before bolting my head at whoever called me name. "Y/N! I've been lookin' everywhere for you!" it was Chrissy.

She was the makeup artist and costume designer for the movie. "Ah, Chrissy." I said as she ran up to me putting on some fake cuts and blood on me. "I don't have time to talk Y/N, I still need to head over to Vil's trailer for his makeup!" she said in hurry. Surprisingly, she was putting on my makeup flawlessly! She is one of the top makeup artists in the country for a reason I suppose. "Hey Epel, what time is it?" I asked, he took out his phone from his pocket and showed me.

"Um..Chrissy." I said, she hummed before heading to get something from her kit. "You have eighteen minutes." She turned her head and looked at me. "Oh my stars!" she said before doing some final touches. "Thankfully, I was almost done." she said before rushing off to Vil's trailer. "Do well Y/N!" she cheered, I waved and smiled back. "Wow..that's..really well done!" Epel cried, he was right.

I looked into a mirror next to me, and Epel was right about the makeup. It looked like I just got into a fight..and lost. That was besides the point however! Right now I needed to prepare for the next scene! "Ah! Y/N! Good thing I found you!" I looked back and saw the director. "Oh, sir, do you need something?" I asked, the director hummed.

"Uh, yes. Sorry to spring this up on you, but the script change a bit." the director shows me a new piece of paper addressed to me. I looked over it and..there was a kiss scene? "Sir!" I yelled, he was trying to walk away from me but turned around. "W-Well, the script writers thought it'd be a great idea, and the way they executed it wasn't bad either!" he said. The director was a nice guy, really! The one flaw about him though that was quite obvious was how easily persuaded he was.

.:Vil's POV:.

"Uhm..excuse me, Mr.Schoenheit?" I put down my comb before telling the person to come in. It was one of the assistants to the director. You know, one of those people who just run errands? "The director wanted me to give this to you." she said, handing me a piece of paper. Bent, and addressed to me. I read over it, it was nothing major.

Until I saw a new scene was added to the script. It was a kiss scene between me and Y/N. This was nothing new. I've had to do a few kiss scenes in the past, but this one..was off. "The director said he would come in here in a few minutes to talk to you about the new scene." I put the script down and looked at her. "Thank you for informing me, have a nice day." I said as she exited my trailer.

Why do I feel this way? In fact, what am I feeling? This was nothing new, but why do I feel so weird about the kiss? It feels like thousands of things are going through my mind at once. It's annoying me. I took a sip of water, thinking it could possibly relax me, but it didn't.

I was trying to suffice my thoughts when the director came in, unannounced. "Mr.Schoenheit, I'd like to discuss the script. Are you alright with it?" I nodded. "Yes, but what about Y/N? Are they alright with it?" I asked, the director cleared his throat. "Ah, well, they were a little shocked, but seemed fine with it." I hummed in disbelief, at least to half of the story. I honestly felt bad for the director, working with and for some of the most sleazy people I've met. Most people would admit that the director's a nice person, he's just naive.

I've worked with the director for a while now. He's worked in several projects that I've starred in, and I can genuinely say he's quite a decent person. I've also been invited to dinner with him and his family. His family was also nice, father of two at the time. He's quite a humble man too, but again, it's just the people he works with who drag him down. I didn't realize it but I soon started moving around in my chair, my eyes soon met the clock, I should've started heading to the set a minute or so ago.

I started walking to the set, looked almost the same to when I left. It looked burnt, and the floor looked like lava was about to come out of the ground. "Mr.Schoeheit! You made it!" I chuckled, "Yes, sorry for being a bit late." I said, dusting some dirt off of my costume. "Oh no it's fine, but Y/N's already on the set in their position so you can head over there too." I nodded and started heading there. Then I saw Y/N, they looked nice in their costume, it fit them perfectly. Even if it had a few rips in it.

"Alright! Is everyone in their position?" everyone replied with a yes. It was then did a click go off, and that was the queue for me and Y/N to start acting. "Just..come back..please.." Y/N pleaded, fake tears coming from their eyes. It was also a talent of theirs, which is why their rise to popularity was so fast. Of course their skill in acting helped, but this just added. "I will NEVER! Go back to that hell." I yelled, swinging a prop sword at Y/N, they swung theirs as well.

"It's changed! You've been gone for so long! Just come back..please." They said. We started at each other, it was silent. They dropped their sword and fell to the ground, all according to the script. "Cameron!" I yelled, that was their character. "I-I'm sorry I just..I just want you back. I miss you. I miss hanging out with you on the rooftop." They sobbed, I held them in my arms, just like what the script wanted. It was silent, other than their sobs.

"I'm sorry..I..I miss those times too." I said, running my hands through their hair. This felt nice, soothing, even. "Cameron, I-I've been wanting to say this for too long. But I lo-!" Y/N lunged at me, and kissed me. It was off though. It wasn't just some meaningless kiss. This one was passionate.

"I know." Y/N said, smiling. "Do you really think you weren't obvious?" They asked, I smiled back. "The thought never crossed my mind, since I was so entranced with you~." They added that into the movie? I mean, it wasn't false, but it was cheesy. "Oh shut up." Y/N said as they sat up and smacked my arm, I chuckled. "Well, I guess I'll listen to you Cameron." I said, I didn't want to say that name however.

It wasn't Y/N's name. That's what I wanted to say. Actually, the more I grasped it, the more I knew what I was feeling back in my trailer. What I was feeling was true love. That's something I can't really say often, I've never truly loved a person romantically before. But today..today I've felt true love for someone, Y/N.
