AT THE PANAMA CITY CENTRAL AREA

I walked around,seemed like they are setting everything up for the music festival tomorrow,I look back at robin who looked pretty hyped and jack was just examining the area filled with decorations
"You sure this is safe,putting up a music festival while the-"
"Ah ah serena,this is a time of happiness and the day after the music festival,we can worry about all of that,just enjoy the good things in life,look at jack,hes doing that"
I turn to jack who looked at the painted canvases
"Bout time you showed up here serena"
I turn to see who the voice was and to some surprise it was daryl who wore a dark beige leather jacket
"Daryl,what are you doing here"
I asked slightly surprised
"Invited to check everything out,theres a director doing tests on stage soon"
Daryl smiles as he turned to jack who was looking at daryl
"Hey I remember you,weren't you at the station when we recruited serena"
Daryl thought for a moment before going into realization
"Ohhh,you were the stupid douchebag with glasses"
Jack just glared
"I feel hurt"
"Hm,good,though you aren't as much as a headache as dr.crane was during ivywood"
I decide to step in
"Ok ok,take it easy you two,robin said its a time of celebration"
I step in between the two and looked at robin
"Yeah so quit your bickering and lets go"

AT THE STAGE

We sat down as we wait for the tester to arrive
"Trust me you guys,you are gonna love this festival"
Robin says smiling,its nice seeing robin happy,we see someone head onto the stage,a woman that seems to be in her young 30s wearing a white shirt with a black leather jacket that went with her slim long black hair and brown eyes,she tapped the microphone three times,she slowly picked it up but before then she spoke
"Test-"
*BOOM!!*
A boom rang out on the stage,I get a closer look at the stage from where i'm at to see what used to be the tester was now unrecognizable with her face now completely in blood and almost half of her face is boney and burnt,blood dripped to her white shirt that was stained,I turned to the others,robin grew a look of horror on her face,daryl ran towards the stage as we follow him

We finally got to the stage to see daryl examining the body,he turns to us
"Theres no doubt,shes a goner"
Daryl still looked sick,I shake the feeling of throwing up out of my mind
"Is there a nametag or anything to identify the victim?"
I asked and daryl found something in the pocket of her leather jacket,he pulled it out and walked back towards us
"Victim's name was maxine rose"
Maxine rose,I look back at the lifeless body,poor girl,seemed like she was alright,my mind traces to the handle of the broken microphone which looked to be exploded,I grab the handle from the ground,jack peaked over my shoulder,and I turn to the others
"We know our murder weapon was this son of a bitch,might need to send this to judith but we have our murder weapon,robin,you and daryl call maggie and someone to get the body,me and jack are gonna check if there was anything left here"
Robin snaps out of her illness and looks at us
"Sure and maybe you guys should talk to the director,victor hayward,little off but still,he might know something"
I nod at robin
"Sounds like a plan,get the microphone and the body to the others,we'll be there"

"I heard a loud bang is everything alright?"
The short mullet brunette with peach fuzz and some glitter on his gray jacket grew a concerned look,I clear my throat
"Theres been an incident on the stage,one maxine rose was murdered,someone messed with the microphone thar caused an explosion"
"Maxine was murdered?!,the poor kid had such a bright future,its such a waste"
Jack looked at the sorrowful man
"Do you know anyone else that could've been on stage before maxine?"
Victor looked at jack
"Not that I knew of,we have a backstage area,maybe try looking there?"
"Alright,we'll come back if theres anymore questions"
