IN ATHENA'S ROOM/ATHENA'S POV

Few days since we arrived in georgia,serena already had to deal with murder and we still have no idea on cole and micah,serena mentioned this elliot clayton can help,this case has been on her nerves,barely got any rest yesterday,not sure if shes even up now or not,zuri already went with jack on patrol,I lean back in my chair looking through my notes until I heard a knock on my door,I turn to the door
"Enter"
I looked up at the door as it opened and it revealed amy,who wore a simple pale blue cardigan and a black shirt,she had her hair in a braid
"Hey amy,how are things"
I asked
"Good,um,have you seen serena at all?"
She asked,I readjust my glasses
"No,shes pretty knocked out working on this case with cole and such,any luck with you or maybe jack and zuri"
I grew curious
"Nothing from elliot and jack and zuri haven't seen anything yet"
She responded,it went quiet for a bit...this is really awkward,gotta change the subject
"Sooo,you finally got some new contacts in huh"
I said,trying to change the subject,amy just nods saying yes in response,I sigh
"Ok,why don't we take a walk in the woods,not sure when serena will be awake sooo...lets go"
I said grabbing my brown jacket and putting it on
"Onwards"

"Sorry about the sudden situation,its just really awkward"
I said as we continued to walk around
"Yeah its fine,we barely talk so its understandable"
Amy replied looking around
"Alright,so,this whole thing with cole,pretty weird huh"
I said
"Yeah,it is,just feel like theres something more going on,even finn was acting weird"
I stopped for a moment,never expected finn of all people to act weird
"Finn was acting weird,isn't he always quiet?"
I questioned
"Well yeah but,its like he saw a ghost looking at cole"
A ghost....ok....thats officially weird
"Like he looked familiar?"
"Something like that,serena said elliot said the same thing"
"Well maybe finn will have some answers-"
*AHHHHHH!!"
There was a scream echoing through the forest that caught our attention
"Ok you just heard that right?"
I asked,amy just nods
"Well C'mon lets go check it out"

We ran to where we heard the screams,the forest felt nearly endless thats when we noticed a forgotten house,we looked around the area until I noticed something behind the tree,it was a hand,I moved closer to the tree and when I turned,it was a dead man with had a red t shirt and short blondish brown hair and just like before,he was dead,almost looks like he was electrocuted,I examined the body,I noticed amy coming over towards me to investigate,I look towards her
"Another body..."
I replied,I took a deep breath and stood up from the body and noticed a backpack on the ground,I walked over towards it and opened it and dug around
"Alright ... .we could talk to Zuri about this or......"
I was in thought thinking of a plan,amy raised an eyebrow
"Or what?"
Amy asked,I sigh as I managed to pull out a driver's license
"We take over on this case,serena's out of it and zuri is already investigating with jack"
I replied
"Are you really sure thats a good idea?"
I smiled
"Yeah!,we got the necessary needs,you have the detective skills and I have the brains for small things,we can do this"
Amy looked hesitant,she was quiet for a moment before taking a deep breath
"Alright,yeah,we can do this!"
Amy smiled,I grinned
"Thats the spirit young!!"
I exclaimed,I looked at the driver's license I found in the bag
"Says here our victim's name is jason rye"
I replied
"Jason rye..."
"Yep,lets see if we can find anything else around here"
I said as I continued to walk around the area,I looked over to see a poster on the ground,I picked it up and examined it,it looked all faded and such,I walked over back to amy who was examining the victim's phone which was near where the victim is,she looked up at me
"You wouldn't have a dusting kit on you by any chance do you?"
I asked,amy grabs her bag and hands me a dusting kit
"Here you go"
I nod
"Thanks amy"
I began clearing off any dust and dirt off the poster,it was revealed to be a performance poster

Linette charis huh,it revealed her with black hair with blue highlights on the end going with her blue eyes,I kept examining it,shes definitely a pretty one
"I think we might of found our first suspect,linette charis"
I replied to amy
"Thats great!,we can drop the phone off to judith and get the morgue to get the body while we talk to this linette charis"
"Well then,I think shes likely practicing right now for tomorrow so lets go!"
