I look through the notes elizabeth handed me after looking through the bennett's history,serena is sadly sick today so I have to take over for her,she didn't look well,she always gets tired and quiet,its awful
"Hey zuri"
I look up to see amy
"Hey Amy,are you doing ok?"
Amy nods saying yes
"Somebody's still confused about athena"
I turn to see kristin with a grin
"I'm not confused,just surprised"
"That'll be a fun conversation with athena"
"Kris,you are my friend but this is not the problem,its whatever is going on with the bennetts being a mafia family"
"Mafia family huh?"
Luca entered with robin and jack
"Hey,haven't seen you guys last night,you good"
"Well I talked to diego after what serena said"
Kristin walked over curious
"And how did it go mr.archer"
"Well,he liked my fashion at the jubilee and then I kinda rambled about my time in the bureau and at T.I.M.E,and he seemed to like it and I sorta took him on that favor and he gave me this"
He showed a piece of paper with numbers,holy shit he actually got his number
"Jack,you actually got his number!?"
Kristin shouted surprised at the info
"Yeah and I offered to take him out for lunch or something he thought that was good"
"So you just rambled about traveling and all of ancient egypt and you got his number"
Robin said as she placed her coffee down
"Yeah"
"Well you clearly got yourself a date"
Amy laughs a little bit
"Its not a date,its simply two bros hanging out for example,friends,strangers?"
Jack grew confused at the end and turned to me
"But what did I miss yesterday"
"Well just the fact the bennetts used to be a line of mafia families and athena was with the utopians,and shared what we knew now and the fact she has a younger brother who she didn't realize he was alive still thanks to serena giving her closure which now amy is having a confused crisis"
"Welp thats a lot and I'm not gonna ask why on the crisis part"
"Zuri,glad to find you and amy here"
I turned to miranda
"Whats going on chief?"
I asked
"I need you and amy to patrol around the beach"
I nodded
"Sure thing,lets go!"

AT THE BROOK BEACH

"Damn it feels warm out today"
I smile as I walk around the beach,amy followed me from behind as we looked around
"So you talked to some of the bennett kids,how did that go exactly"
I asked,I was kinda curious at the fact
"Well,angelo isn't much of the talker,and like he did with athena,he asked only small questions,where I'm from and such,I ran into ada when looking for kristin,besides anya and ophelia and the others,she actually seemed really nice"
Amy rambled on for a bit as we wandered
"Well if we're being honest,I think ada and her siblings mean well but,I can't really say anything about the father or mother"
My attention turned to the lighthouse,the door was unlocked
"Thats odd"
Amy turned to my direction
"What is it"
"Lighthouses are never open for people to just wander in"
I began to walk towards the door of the open lighthouse
"Lets go check inside"

CASE #8 CH 1-EXAMINE LIGHTHOUSE

We finally got to the top for what seemed to be hours of climbing up the stairs,it was a small space,it had chests,a table with a radio and a lamp and a dead body-,oh wait that isn't right,I walk over besides the table to examine the body,it was a woman,she had black hair and only one visible brown eye while the other half was burnt,she wore a simple gray tailor which was burnt like her face and arm,I grew sick and backed away,I wonder how serena has managed to put up with this all these years,amy looked at the dead body
"This wasn't an accident"
I turn to amy
"What makes you say that?"
Amy kneeled down and pointed to her hands being tied,amy wasn't wrong,this was no accident,I walked around the lighthouse,I examined the table and noticed there was a phone,I picked it up,it had power,this was the victim's phone but we don't have a name,I place the phone in my bag and continued to look around
"Hey amy,did the victim have a license or some sort of identification"
Amy turned to me as she stood up from the body
"No,maybe theres something in her bag"
I looked over to see her bag near the window,I picked it up and placed it on the table,I began to dig around in the bag until I found an ID,I picked it up,vera arezzo,that must be the victim,amy peaked over my shoulder
"Vera arezzo,huh,that name sounds familiar"
Amy said,yeah that name does sound familiar,it then clicked in my brain
"Ah shes the daughter of the director for love factual,sebastian arezzo"
I explained,oh wait,guess we'll have to tell him about his daughter's death
"We'll have to tell him about his daughter"
Amy sighs
"Never easy on the job"
"And plus,we need to let the morgue handle this and we'll drop the phone off to judith"
I said as I began to walk down the stairs
