Eden was still looking at her new body and hands as the rain stopped falling. The wind died down, and everything became still as the moon shone bigger and brighter in the sky than she had ever seen it before. Eden let out a victorious laugh.
Eden looked around to see the trees were kneeling at her feet. She was HUGE. She had never seen a lycan SO big before. She started to become concerned that maybe she was some sort of freak. She didn’t want to frighten anyone.
Moments later she realized she had never seen the mountains before, and now she could see them ALL in plain view. She stood high above the treetops, and had a clear enough view to make out every ridge in them. Even though the mountains were still miles away, they were magnificently towering ahead of her. She stood still and watched in awe as rocks plummeted from the top of Greycrest Peak, the tallest of the range. Boulders bounced off the top and caused them to break over cliffs and peaked lines. The freshly perched snow was sliding down in mass as well.
Eden had made the earth tremble at her feet, and she took off running again because it made her feel so good and so free. Eden shook her fur like a wet dog, then started running back towards the orphanage. Along the way she realized she needed to shift back so she didn’t scare anyone, or be made fun of for her size. She thought to herself 'Of course, she's the tiniest in human form but as a lycan she was so big now. Everyone would make fun of her AGAIN for her size.'
Eden saw lights of the kingdom coming up ahead, ao she halted her running. She crouched down to get as small as she could, closed her eyes, and then found herself back in her human form, naked and scared. She was naked! No clothes! Fear ripped through her very being, and she couldn’t figure out how she would get back in without anyone seeing her.
For a brief moment she had to balance herself on a tree when the mud below made her slip and fall to the ground. She was covered head to toe in brown goop. She was surely going to be embarrassed when she got back to the orphanage. Eden got up and knew she had to go back regardless. She was also very cold and wet, and all she wanted now was a hot shower and to curl up in her bed to sleep.
