Those damn twins.
It's been a few weeks since I decided to break up with George. Things haven't been the same.
The twins and I barely interact. We have classes together and Quidditch and that's it. I miss them a lot. But I know I can't go back to either of them, it'll only hurt them more.
But God... what I would do to just go back to when everything was perfect.
"Eden?" A familiar voice was at the door.
"Come in," I said, putting away my parchment on Polyjuice Potion I was writing for Snape.
"I, uh, heard about everything that happened with the twins," Cedric stood in my dorm, staring at the floor.
"Um, yeah. Things got a little messy." Why was he here?
"I just wanted to let you know I'm here if you need anything. I know we didn't end on good terms, and I'm really sorry for that. I was in utter disbelief that one of my friends could do that to you." He finally looked up and I saw the sincerity in his eyes.
"I appreciate that, Cedric. I think I just need time to adjust to everything that's happened lately."
"Of course. If you need anything, you know where to find me." He gave me a small smile before exiting my dorm.
Goodness, boys are so much drama. It's just hot and cold with them.
But then again, I'm not the easiest to deal with. I think I need to make things right with the twins.
Fred
I can't even believe I was such an arse.
I get drunk with Eden and George, and somehow I end up fucking her? I bloody miss her, but I never wanted to hurt George. We're okay now, but nothing's the same. I miss my girlfriend. Well, I miss when she was my girlfriend.
I can't stand how awful things are between us. It's like all the history we have is just gone and it's back to when we first met. She's still in utter disgust of George and me. She still boxes after every practice. And she still avoids us at all cost.
I still have George, but things were tense for a while. We could barely look at each other. It took a lot of apologizing for us to be on speaking terms again. At least we're back to the way we were. But I want the same with Eden. I know George still loves her, but I've never stopped loving her. I would do anything for her. Anything.
Maybe if I knew there was something to do to get her back, I could. Even just as a friend, I would love to have her back in my life. Her beautiful green eyes, her long brown hair, her muscular build, her laugh, even her face of concentration during class, I miss it all. I miss her. I need her back. If she'll listen to me, I'll make things right.
Eden
I paced in front of the twins' dorm door. I need to knock, but I'm too nervous. I want to make things right, but they probably hate me. Or they think I hate them.
I don't hate them. I never have. I've been upset, frustrated, disappointed, but never hateful. I hope they know that.
I took a deep breath and finally knocked. I heard muffling conversation from inside.
"You expecting someone?"
"I was going to ask you the same. I didn't invite anyone."
The door opens and both of them stare at me.
"Uh, hi." I smile sheepishly. "Can I come in?"
"Of course."
I walk through the doorway and turn around to face them.
"I wanted to apologize-"
"We're so sorry Eden."
We all stop and laugh for a second before sitting on Fred's bed.
"You start." They motioned for me to talk first.
"I wanted to apologize for how I've acted lately. Everything got so complicated so fast, and I didn't know how to deal with it. I've been a complete bitch and it hasn't helped either of us. You both have been such a huge part of my life I'd hate for one drunk night to ruin everything we've built the past few years. If you can forgive my coldness, I really want to go back to when we were best friends."
I take a deep breath. I did it. I told them everything. Now I just have to hope they feel the same way.
"We actually feel the same. We were wanting to talk to you to apologize for everything, but we were worried you hated us," George says and Fred nods.
"Oh goodness, I could never hate you two. I've been such a selfish, frigid bitch that I didn't even consider how I was in the wrong."
"It wasn't just you Ede. We all fucked up."
We all nod and look at each other in silence.
"I really missed you guys." My eyes well up and I try to blink away the tears.
"We missed you too." They smile and we all look around at each other.
"So... lunch?" They nod and we all walk down to the Great Hall together.
I finally have my boys back.
Thank you everyone for commenting on my revival update. It's been a while and Lord knows so much has happened since then. I'm glad to keep Eden's Garden alive and reunite the twins with Eden.
If you have any suggestions or requests for the next chapter, drop them HERE.
Until then.
