"I love it when it snows," I said, wrapping my arms around Fred's neck. He kissed my forehead and leaned his head against mine.

"It is quite beautiful," he whispered, staring at the falling flakes. A couple snowflakes got caught on his eyelashes.

"Alright, lovebirds are you guys all packed?" George whined. We turned around and saw him crossing his arms and tapping his foot.

"Is that what I look like when I'm waiting for something?" Fred asked.

"Absolutely," I giggled.

We walked back into the common room. We grabbed our trunks and got ready to load them onto the train. "Just so you know, Harry and Hermione are coming too."

"Great! The more the merrier! And one more girl I have as an escape from you lads."

We loaded our trunks onto the shelves and settled into a compartment. Ron, Harry, and Hermione said hi before going to their own compartment and Ginny joined me and the twins.

"I'm going to use the loo, don't fuck with my trunk," I lectured before getting up and leaving the compartment. Once I'd used the bathroom, I began walking back to the compartment before I got pulled into another.

"What the..."

"Shhhh, Eden it's me."

"Percy? What the hell are you doing?"

"I had to get you alone before we got home."

"Why?"

"To talk to you about what had happened in the locker room. I'm sorry for coming on so strong when you were with Fred, I had no idea. I'm just so sorry."

"Percy, it's alright. If you didn't know then it's not your fault. It's perfectly alright. I'm sure we can be great friends from here on out." I smiled at him and he smiled back. I kissed his cheek and walked back to the twins' compartment.

"Merlin, Eden I thought you had a stroke in there! You took forever," Fred whined.

I slapped him playfully and laid my head on his lap, falling asleep until we reached King's Cross.

"Eden, dear! It's so good to see you again." Molly kissed my head and wrapped me in a tight hug. She moved and hugged everyone else and Fred stayed by my side.

We walked off to the fireplace and Flooed our way to the Burrow. I smelled the warmth of the house and immediately smiled. It was like being surrounded by the smell of Fred.

Everyone scurried around the house, dragging trunks and yelling. "Eden dear you'll be staying in the guest room. It's at the top unfortunately. Charlie, take Eden's trunk up!" Molly yelled.

A tall, muscular ginger appeared and lifted my trunk. His hair was long and he had a pointed rock pendent around his neck. He smiled at me as he brought my trunk up. I sat down at the kitchen table with Molly as we had tea.

"So Fred posted me that you're dating!"

I choked on my tea. "Um, yes that is true."

"How did it happen dear? I want to know everything," she giggled, happy to gossip with me.

"Well, we had been hanging out a bit outside of Quidditch. I'm a boxer, so I've been giving him boxing lessons. He's really committed and he's gained a lot of muscle and discipline."

"The muscle part I could see. Not so sure about the discipline part." As she said this, we heard a loud crash come from upstairs. We both laughed and continued talking.

"So yes, he's gained a lot of muscle. I've actually convinced him to eat somewhat healthy. He also wanted me to tell you that I've never had a sweet in my life."

"Never? In your life?" she questioned, her mouth hanging open.

"Nope. My father was a famous muggle boxer, so he basically raised me the way he lived. The closest thing I've ever had to a birthday cake was an ice cream cake, except the ice cream was protein smoothies with an ice cream-like consistency. I've never had candy or cake or soda. I was barely allowed to drink juice. It has so much sugar, you know?"

"Merlin's beard that's not right! A child can't be raised without sweets! A limit I understand, but no sweets? We're going to make a cake right now." She got up and waved her wand and ingredients started floating out of the cupboards.

"Fred told me that if I tried your cake I'd never stop," I admitted.

"Well, normally I make a cake so sweet it'll rot your teeth, but since you're new to the sweet game, we'll make a cake on the sort of healthier side. A carrot cake!"

I clapped my hands and she gave me an apron. I put it on and we started making the cake. I peeled and chopped the carrots, barely looking at them while I did.

"You're going to cut your finger off!" Molly yelped, looking at me chopping the carrots while looking out the window.

"Mrs. Weasley, I grew up making my own meals. I can peel and chop fruits and vegetables without looking in a minute. Speaking of, here's your carrot chunks." I held out the cutting board smiling.

"My goodness we aren't rabbits! Those carrots are going into a cake! Can you cut them smaller?"

"Of course!" I began chopping the carrots finer. I poured them into the batter and she began making the icing. The smell of cake baking flooded the house. It felt like sniffing heaven. She pulled out a teaspoon and scooped a little frosting into it.

"Try it dear. I think you'll love it." She smiled wide and held out the spoon. I took it and put it in my mouth, and immediately smiled. It tasted like going to the beach with my mother and feeling the excitement when she announced she was pregnant. She died years ago, but I could still taste the happy memories in this frosting.

"Mrs. Weasley, I-"

"Call me Molly, dear."

"Molly... it's absolutely delicious," I giggled. I began dancing around the kitchen, murmuring a song my mother had sung to me.

The boys walked in and saw my dance and immediately burst out laughing.

"Mum, what did you give her?" Fred asked, trying to suppress his giggles.

"A teaspoon of frosting!"

More laughs erupt.

"She's on a sugar high from a teaspoon of frosting!" George howled. I ran to the couch and flopped down, still singing the song.

The twins sat down on either side of me, laughing at my song.

"Where'd you learn that, love?" Fred asked.

"From my mother. It was one of her favorite muggle songs. Before she passed."

I felt two pairs of arms embrace me.

"Relax, I'm not sad about it anymore, really. It happened a long time ago. I still had my dad. He's the one who raised me. My mother hated all the boxing stuff, but she still enchanted the officials to let me compete. Once she died, I had to do it myself. It wasn't easy. Took a few tries."

"Eden, you don't have to talk about her," George said softly.

"We're your family now, Ede. I promise," Fred whispered as he kissed my forehead. I leaned over on his shoulder. This was my family now.

The Weasleys were my family now.
