Fred POV

Winter without Eden was the worst. Had to deal with all my bloody siblings and no escape. Not even sneaking firewhiskey made it better. Then I was just drunk and lonely.

I've never been more excited to go back to school. We had just crossed the platform and I was talking to Mum behind me when I heard a loud bang. I turned and saw George on a floor with Eden on top of him.

"Merlin Eden I could've used a warning!" He exclaimed as he stood up.

"I missed you too much! I spent all bloody month with my dad boxing 24/7. I need a break." Her shoulders slumped but George helped her up off the floor and she returned to her cheery self.

"Well I'll tell you what, it was no peach at the Burrow either. This man," George pointed at me. "Was grumpy the whole time."

"Well excuse me for being annoyed with my crazy siblings. Especially you talking in your sleep mate!" He looked shocked. "Come on, we all know you sleep talk."

"Ooh, what did he say?" Eden asked, clasping her hands together.

"Don't remember exactly. I was too angry to really understand. Pretty sure I heard your name once, though."

"Aww, is Georgie talking about me in his sweep?" She pouted her bottom lip and pinched his cheek. She was adorable.

"You wish!" He shoved her hand away and laughed. They made a bit of eye contact before looking away. Were they flirting with each other?

Eden POV

It was so great seeing the twins again. I'd practically gone mad being holed up with my dad.

After teasing George a bit, we started chatting and something about him felt different. We locked eyes for a couple seconds before he looked away and he actually blushed.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Cedric.

"Eden! How was your holiday?" He wrapped me in a hug and planted a kiss on my lips.

"It was okay. Glad to be back here." He looked satisfied with my answer. The twins said hi and Cedric glared at Fred, but other than that he was civil.

"Will you sit with me on the train? My friends want to talk to you."

"I was planning on sitting with them and Lee but if you want me to sit with you then I will."

"Would you? They're convinced I've made you up since you're so busy."

"They haven't heard of me? I'm shocked." I acted hurt. "I'm the Eden May, the star chaser. The prettiest girl in Hogwarts. The most amazing witch to ever walk the earth."

"That's what I tell them! They think I made up you're dating me since they never see us together. Hey!" He waved over a group of boys and they came over. They all walked over and shook my hand and started talking about how hot I was. It was a bit uncomfortable, but I put up with it for Cedric's sake.

"Come on! We gotta get our compartment." We walked over to the train and went into a larger compartment. I began to sit down but one of his friends pulled me onto his lap.

"Aye you're right man! She's got a nice ass!" I stood up and sat next to Cedric but he also pulled me onto his lap.

"Hey, don't do that mate. She's my girlfriend I'm not sharing her." That calmed me down a little bit. They chatted about their breaks and I tuned them out, looking through the window.

"I'll be back Ced. I'm going to the bathroom." I kissed his cheek and got up to leave. God it was so nice to get away from all that unhealthy testosterone. I began washing my hands when I felt someone grab my butt. I whipped around and saw one of Cedric's friends.

"Fuck! You scared me!" I began to dry my hands and tried to open the door but he shut it.

"No rush. Stay a bit."

"What do you mean? The trolley will come soon and I want a chocolate frog."

"I can give you something sweet." He lifted my jaw with his finger. He started undoing his belt and I tried to open the door. He locked it. From the outside. What the fuck?

"Come on baby. Enjoy it." He began to pull down my panties and I tried to get away. He pulled up my skirt and flipped me around so my chest was pressed against the door. He used his scarf to tie my hands behind my back.

"Stop you creep!" I yelled, trying to get attention of someone in a nearby compartment. "Get the hell off of me!"

I heard banging on the door and people juggling the handle.

"Alohamora!"

Fred burst in the door and I fell to the ground. I loosened the scarf and got my hands out while Fred was punching the guy. I scooted away against the wall as Fred bashed him.

"Cedric!" He yelled, trying to dodge Fred's flying fists.

Cedric ran in a pulled Fred off his friend.

"Bloody hell are you doing mate!"

"Hell am I doing? Hell is your friend doing! He was about to rape your girlfriend!"

"He's lying!" The guy was holding his nose, trying to stem the blood flow.

"Eden! Tell him what happened!" All their eyes fell on me.

"I... he..."

"God, stop stuttering Eden!" Cedric yelled. "Just spit it out!"

I stood up and looked into his eyes threateningly.

"Your so-called friend tried to fuck me. He locked me in, tied my hands behind my back, and tried to have sex with me without my consent. So yes, Fred is right. He came in because he heard me yelling for help and got me away from your prick friend."

He looked completely shocked. He looked between each of us, as if he was debating who to believe.

"Well? Are you going to yell at the dickhead?" Fred asked, annoyed.

"I mean... I... I wasn't there..."

"Seriously?!" I yelled. "There's two eye witnesses telling you that he tried to rape me and you don't want to believe us because he's your friend?!"

"Eden, don't do this." He placed his hand on my shoulder and I flinched and walked away.

"We're done Cedric. Never talk to me again." I stormed out and went into George's compartment.

"Hey Eden! What's wrong?" I said nothing as I sat next to him and pressed my face into the crook of his neck. I started crying and he wrapped his arm around me, rubbing my shoulder and whispering in my ear to comfort me. Fred came in and sat next to Lee, quietly explaining what happened. The rest of the train ride was silent except for my quiet sobs and George shushing me. I eventually fell asleep, resting on him.

George POV

There was something different about Eden after this holiday. There was this feeling between us that wasn't there before. I couldn't describe it, but it was nice. And I was glad she looked for me to comfort her after Cedric.

Her head fit perfectly in the crook of my neck, and she smelled so good. Lemons, sweat, and leather. But not stinky sweat, just kind of salty. Even crying, her big green eyes were beautiful. She has always been so kind, and seeing her hurt like this was horrible. It took everything in me to not beat up Diggory, but I'm sure he'll get what he deserves.

For now, all that mattered was her.
