Olivers POV

It had been a week since the kiss, and nothing else had happened between Reggie and me. It was Saturday night, meaning we could bring other people over to hang out, which led to us throwing a party for all our friends. I was in the kitchen talking to some random girl, not really paying attention to what she was saying as I was looking at Reggie. He had his back on me as he was also talking to a girl.

The party was booming when I saw Darren stand up on the couch. "Every can I have your attention, please!" Darren shouted over the speakers playing music. "If you want to play truth or dare, come sit in a circle here on the couch!" people started moving around to make a circle. The girl I was talking to also started walking over to the circle, making me follow her. I sat down on the couch next to some friends. Reggie was on the other side of the circle, still talking to the same person."Let me start," Darren said, pointing at someone and asking truth or dare.

This went on for a couple of rounds until it was Reggie's turn to be asked. "Truth or dare, Reggie?"

"Truth," Reggie responded with a smirk on his face as he would probably answer any question he would get asked.

"Who was the last person you kissed?"

________

Early that same day-

Ever since our kiss, I have no idea what has been going on with me and Reggie's friendship or relationship. After he said I have soft lips, I had these weird feelings about him, but I don't know what it was exactly.

I was sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast with Seb when Reggie walked in. I thought this would be my chance to ask Reggie what was going on with our friendship. But obviously, I couldn't do it in front of Seb, so I would have to get him to leave somehow without making him suspicious about the fact that there might be something going on.

"Seb, could you go get my laptop? I wanted to show you a beat I have been working on," I said while looking at Reggie as he was coming closer to us. "Yeah, sure," Seb responded, walking off.

"Can I listen to it too," Reggie asked. At this point, he was standing right in front of me, so I stood up from where I was sitting. "Yeah, of course, you can listen to it too," I said, walking away to go put my plate away.

Seb was finally out of sight, so I turned to look at Reggie

"What is going on with us after .... Well, you know what?" I asked, staring him directly in the eyes. He looked back to see if he could see Seb, which he could not, as I had checked before asking.

"Well, I don't really know what is going on. But I think we should just move on as if had never happened." He said this while staring at his hands until he finally looked up to see my reaction.

"Sure, we can do that," I replied, turning back around to finish cleaning my dish. I didn't know how to feel about that. I also didn't know what I was expecting him to say, but for some reason, my gut did not want him to give me that reply.

____________

"Who was the last person you kissed?"

The circle went quiet, wanting to know who the lucky person was. I was looking at Reggie when he turned to make eye contact with me. Only to turn to Darren and ask for a punishment for not answering the question.

"Oh, come on, just tell us who it is," Darren said. The whole group started bothering him about it just to tell him who the person was, but luckily he did not tell. "OK, fine, but I will be asking about this later, but your punishment is to drink a shot of hot sauce," Darren said as he left the kitchen to go get hot sauce.

As Reggie downed the shot, he was making direct eye contact with me, and once he finished his shot, he winked at me. For some reason, that had an effect on me, making my stomach feel weird.
