Izuku sighed as he put the phone down.

Well, no going to school in person anymore, considering the staff got busted for apparently being associated with a possible extremist group, and the school itself has been burned down under mysterious circumstances.

Not that he cared much, to hell with that school.

Screw all of them, the teachers, the random people who bullied him, and Kacchan, he didn't care about any of them.

Especially since he'd met Inasa.

The other boy has been quite an influence.

Izuku had felt happier and more content, which showed in front of everyone else, especially his mother.

Inko had been in a far happier mood all the time because he was, which made him even happier.

And Inasa was the first person to actually be a real friend, other than Yuga and Carmen of course.

Izuku didn't see Kacchan since the sludge villain incident, but he could care less anymore.

Inasa also gave him a sense of bravery he'd never had before.

So he was no longer afraid of standing up for himself or others.

Though this feeling still bugged Izuku, a feeling he got anytime he was around Inasa.

He'd decided to research it.

...

Only to discover hours later, that this feeling meant one thing.

He'd found his alpha.

Izuku could not believe it, and yet, it made so much sense.

Things just seemed to fall into place after he'd met the older boy.

And the other had been extremely kind and considerate to him, even offering a bouquet of flowers to him just yesterday, roses.

Ugh, how'd he miss that? Roses were gifted as a romantic gift, once long ago in normal, quirkless society, but now mostly between Alphas and their mates.

So the next day, Izuku called Inasa, deciding to ask what he needed answers on.

"Inasa?"

"Hi Izuku! How are you today?!"

"Um, Inasa..."

"Too loud?!"

Izuku made an affirmative 'mm hm', and Inasa quieted down.

"Sorry."

"It's okay Inasa-kun, in truth, I kinda like that you're so enthusiastic."

That was such an obvious attempt to flirt, but he had no clue how the other would respond.

Then a laugh, a happy one thankfully, not a mocking one.

"Well thank you Izuku-kun. Can I share a secret?"

"Sure..."

He was cautiously optimistic.

"The first time we met, I was really drawn by those emerald eyes of yours. I mean they're so...perfect, flawless."

He has to put the phone down for a moment in favor of blushing furiously.

He was a tomato right now.

'is he...flirting with me? Like really? Me?! I...'

He quickly gathered himself and picked the phone back up.

"Sorry, had to...kill a fly."

He didn't sound convincing did he? Ugh he sucked at lying.
