Shota sighed in exasperation.
His students were supposed to be working on math and pre-calculus, Ectoplasm was out for personal reasons, so he left the work for the students to complete with Shota and Vlad in their respective classes.
Most were doing their work, and a few (Nigel, Momo, Lida, and Midoriya) were finished already, and helping others with theirs.
Kaminari and Sero were bickering about something, Bakugou was not completing his, and Mineta was currently staring at Momo as usual, though stopped after Nigel narrowed a glare his way.
Damn his son could be scary.
Mina was whispering to Jirou, the two coming up with pranks they could use on Mineta to get him back for his inappropriate behavior, which Shota understood.
"Sero that's not plausible, you're more like, a Chihuahua."
"Eh?"
Shota interjected with a blank gaze upon them both.
"Kaminari, don't you still need to finish Present Mic's English homework from yesterday? Which is due in by tomorrow?" He inquired.
"Well yes, but I'm multitasking." Denki replied with a shrug.
Shota sighed, not having time to deal with this.
"Fine, do it or not, I don't care, it's not my classwork anyway."
He promptly zipped himself back up in his sleeping bag.
Honestly his husband handled this better, while Shota tolerated incomplete work as long as it wasn't his.
Shota was also, compared to other teachers, the most...extreme.
Vlad, Midnight, and Thirteen were the most laid back and easy.
All Might, Cementoss, and Snipe were similar, but more strict in terms of rules and guidelines.
And he and Spitfire were the most strict, Spitfire actually just expelled half the class of homeroom 3-B, saying they 'weren't being serious enough', which Aizawa understood.
He actually didn't get how All Might was allowed to teach at U.A. to begin with, but the symbol of peace had proved he took the job seriously, especially given his restraint with that whole situation with Bakugou trying to cause death upon Midoriya.
And Nezu, while not agreeing with the HPSC's clear ulterior motives, allowed him to remain and All Might himself didn't really like how the commission was trying to use him to garner more power and influence.
But the commission...something wasn't quite right about them, especially lately.

.Kotesi Ochago's dress swayed behind her as she walked to Jolene's office.
She'd dealt with the last two members, now one more and her plan would be set in motion.
"Oh, good day Kotesi."
Jolene greeted politely, as Kotesi entered her office, with Jolene still finishing up paperwork from yesterday's meeting.
"Good day Jolene, do you have a moment?"
The other woman raised a brow.
"What is it?"
The two didn't like each other, Jolene felt Kotesi was a stuck up bitch, and Kotesi felt Jolene was just an imbecile.
Which she was. Honestly, why Kotesi was stuck with her...
"Well I sat in my office in thought for a while, and well, I've come to find I have been most rude to you, and so I wanted to issue an apology."
Of course she was lying, shoveling shit on.
Not that Jolene needed to know, the other two men had...accepted, her apologies.
"Really? And you've apologized to the others?" Jolene questioned with suspicion.
Kotesi mentally frowned but maintained a smile.
'sure, I...apologized.' she thought darkly.
"I have, but they did not seem to want to listen, they were convinced I was such a lying bitch."
And she was, why? Because Kotesi had plans.
Jolene nodded, and smiled, though she still seemed reluctant.
"Very well, I forgive you I suppose, and you know the small mindedness of some men."
Kotesi had to agree actually, men in general were of small minds, they were complete idiots, only useful for getting pregnant from in her opinion.
"Perhaps, oh, and I brought some wine, I figured we could celebrate our starting over." Kotesi added with false enthusiasm that Jolene remained oblivious to.
"Sure, just let me put this away." She rose to go over to a file cabinet to put away the files she'd been working on.
Kotesi had taken the time to open the wine, pour them both a glass, then put liquid poison in Jolene's glass, and quickly mixing it while Jolene remained distracted.
By the time Jolene came back over, Kotesi had mixed the poison and returned the glass to its position as if nothing happened.
"To us and our new friendship! May it forever prosper." Kotesi said.
"I'll drink to that." Jolene replied softly before they both tapped glasses and drank.
About five minutes later, Jolene started to choke, realizing it too little too late.
"You..you evil bitch! What...did you...do?!" Jolene questioned as she was quickly dying.
Kotesi grinned evilly, perfect.
"Me? Nothing, other than ensure that when this whole 'heroes vs villains' conflict is over, that I, Kotesi Ochago, will emerge victorious." She cackled.
And now, with the commission in her full control, nothing could stop her.
And she could only cackle like a Disney villain as Jolene took her last breath.
*Um, shorter chapter for this chapter and the next one, then we move to the next arc, given this one is pretty short.
