I like him, no, I love him.
He's my buddy, he's my man, my forever best friend.
He is Kalyx.
“Yesh, parang ikaw 'yong napanood ko sa tv.”
“Hala, sino, maganda ba?”
“Oo, kasing ganda mo 'yong mangkukulam sa isang pelikula.” He laugh out loud.
We've been friends for a long time, a childhood best friends. We share everything, he's always there, he's someone I run into whenever I need a shoulder to lean on.
“Cry, let it out. I'll listen. You have me, remember?”
He's the best.
He never let a day pass without spending it with me.
“Hoy, tara! Gala, libre ko na, alam ko naman kasi na wala kang pera.”
He's my joker and he never failed to put a smile on my face.
“Grabe Yesh, may bigla umutot habang kumakain ako. Nawalan tuloy ako ng gana kumain.”
“Bakit, sino ba 'yang umutot na 'yan. Sabihan mong pumasok ng banyo at magbawas. Naku!”
“HAHA, andito na nga ako, patapos na.” Hanep!
We laugh together.
We lived like a princess and a prince. He's now my king, as she treasure me like a queen.
At this moment, we're on our way to a happy ending.
“Best friends to lovers. Wala nang bawian ha, akin ka na. Akin ka lang.”
We became so close, and our hearts finally collided.
“I love you! Mahal kita palagi, mahal na mahal.”
We had rings. He proposed. He became mine.
“Hihintayin kita sa harap ng altar, mahal. Will you marry me?”
We almost reach the crown. Almost...
“Bukas na ang kasal natin, ang bilis ng panahon. Dati, hanggang kasal-kasalan lang tayo. Dati, tayo pa ang gumaganap na nanay at tatay sa larong bahay-bahayan. Pero ngayon, ikakasal na ako sayo. At iuuwi na kita sa magiging tahanan natin habang-buhay.”
But everything turns into pain.
Those laugh turned into tears.
Those jokes.. are now a forever sorrow.
Those promised.. are now goodbye's.
“I'm sorry Yesha, but he's now breathless.”
Nothing more painful than hearing those words coming from your mother. Mahal, why do you need to leave me? What happened to our happily ever after?
It's all gone.
“He died.”
You supposed to be here, waiting for me.
Walking down the aisle, wearing a white dress while holding a bouquet of flowers.
You're there, waiting for me. Lying breathlessly, sleeping peacefully... I'm sorry.
Our favorite song that we planned to be our wedding theme song is now a melody of your farewell.
