Chapter 1 Rewrite Preview—
The bitter expression found its way to Lloyd's face, "I just- I just wish I could've saved Harumi instead of just watching her fall to her death from the sidelines."

The Lightning Elemental flattened his brows, shaking his head. Realizing that there was no convicing Lloyd that all of the bad things that happened was not his fault. Jay relunctantly let go of Lloyd's shoulders and stood up from his spot on the couch, keeping one hand on the Green Ninja's shoulder.

"I can relate to that." Jay nodded, frowning, "I'm still ticked at myself for being unable to save Nya like she had with me but... I don't know. Maybe you could've done something, maybe you couldn't have. Just don't go down the path I am."

"Which is?"

"Wanting to abandon everyone, go isolate myself from the world, leave everything behind."

Lloyd felt for Jay and put his own hand over the one Jay had on his shoulder, patting it. Jay looked at Lloyd with a tiny grateful smile. The Master of Lightning then took a deep breath before nodding, taking his hand away from Lloyd.

"Lloyd," He called out to the blonde who turned around to face him, "Just remember this. The past is the past and the future is the future. Some day- One day, you'll find happiness again. Whether it's in love or not." Jay gave Lloyd the most supportive smile he could muster.

Lloyd smiled back sincerely, thankful for the Lightning Ninja's support, "Thanks, Jay."

Chapter 2 Rewrite Preview—
He held his right hand out, which made Quin's attention switch over to him, "My name's Lloyd. Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon."

Quin, one hand still holding her ponytail, quirked a brow while staring at his stretched out arm before taking his hand in her own, giving him a small smile, "Nice to meet you, Lloyd," She made eye contact with him, "I'm Quin. Er, Quin Huxley."

"Ms. Huxley," He shook their hands up and down, "Apologies for the, um, thing that happened with us earlier. I didn't exactly mean to make you fall on your face when I did- uh, you know." Grinning out of embarrassment, his other hand found its way to the back of his head, scratching his hair in a flustered manner.

She shook her hand along with his, nodding, "Just Quin. I absolutely despise formalities."

"Heh, you and me both."

"And yeah, it's fine, Lloyd. It's all good. I mean, I did also give you that kick to the face- Oh, gosh!" Her hand released from his hold and went up to his nose. Her eyes, which were relaxed just a second ago, started flooding with concern, "Your nose! It's bleeding!"

A/N: Hey guys, it's been a while. Been busy and I haven't had the time to write recently because of finals, but as soon as they're done, I'm back to writing. Hopefully these previews get you excited enough for the rewrite! :)
