I ran as fast as I could, but not even far away from home, my weak body felt heavy. I can't leave my mom there. Not even a minute after I turned around, police cars and sirens surrounded our condo.

"If I go back, would mom be happy?"

Even if I want to, I'd never be able to. So I ran away to Manila, where my only aunt resides. I happened to still remember where she lives, so I ran until I reach her door step.

"Tita?" I knocked and for a while, she opened the door.

"Dios mio, Wonyoung! Alas dos na! Ang itsura mo... napapaano ka?" She asked worringly. And before I could answer, she asked a question that broke my heart once again.

"Si mama mo, nasaan?"

My tears went rushing down my face before I could even speak. It feels like my mouth was sealed shut from opening.

My aunt washed me off immdiately and gave me food to eat, although I don't want to eat anything at the moment.

"Dulong kwarto sa kanan, 'yon ang kwarto mo. Mag-pahinga ka na muna." She said, and I moved without saying a word.

I looked out the window for a while, wondering if mom will come back for me. My eyes and body is too numb to feel any more pain. Just as I close the window and curtains, I heard a voice behind my back.

"Hey, everything will be alright." It said, so I turned around.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my room?" I asked in a low tone.

"I'm your cousin, Hyunseo, and technically, this is my room." She exclaimed.

"Don't worry, you can have it. I sleep just right next to this room, but I advice you not to enter it." She added.

"Okay, Hyunseo. I don't care about your room more than enough to enter it, so leave mine now."

"So sungit for the first time here. Alright, I'll leave you... for now." She playfully said and left.

I sat down on the floor and bawled my eyes out. I could never do this. I could never kill someone, especially my parents.

"This isn't me. Who am I? What am I?"

And just right after, I felt my head hurt so bad, so I closed my blurry eyes and unconciously slept right where I'm at.
