Jang Wonyoung
I felt like my conscience is eating me up. What happened yesterday shocked me. I am aware that I hurt the person, but I am not aware of what I'm truly capable of. The only good thing is I have his phone.
Maybe I could save myself from the accusations if I pretend I don't know anything in public, right?
Surprisingly, I'm the first to arrive at the classroom, but I haven't seen Yujin nor any of her friends yet.
"I was hoping to see you, and I guess I made the right choice to wait." Our professor said.
"What is this about now, prof?"
"I suppose that you're aware of the news."
"Yes, I am." I clamly answered.
"There's no other person capable of doing that, Wonyoung." My prof said with a low tone.
"Are you accusing me?"
"The night before, you told be everything will end. It did."
"I guess I have the power of prediction." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Then predict what would happen next." He leaned over the table.
I leaned near as well. "All I know is that you're next if you don't shut up."
His eyes widened, and before he could say more, few students entered the classroom.
He sat down with his hands covering his pissed off face, and I walked backwards to my seat, not breaking my stare.
Soon later, police came to the university, interrupting all classes with their damn loud sirens. It turns out, they were looking for me and I have come out to talk to them.
People swarmed around me as I faced them, and my confidence completely turned to anxiety. I could sense that one of those stares belong to my professor, but I can't show my weakness.
"Ms. Jang Wonyoung, you are a suspect, and we need to interrogate you." The female officer said.
"If you're here for an interrogation, then you should have known that the word "privacy" exists, OFFICER." I exclaimed.
They both nodded at each other, which tells that they have something in mind. Soon, they started shouting telling the students to go back to their classes, and they brought me with them.
"Do you feel private now?" She asked as we enter an empty room.
"Private and comfortable enough." I answered and sat.
"We have never encountered suspects that are as calm and puzzling as you." The male officer then said.
"And most of them were guilty, right? Why would I be nervous or panick or act crazy like them if I'm innocent?" I said and both of them scoffed.
"Are you aware of the reason why we're here?" He asked.
"Basically because you thought I'm the suspect which I can't guarantee as I am positive that none of the evidences you have on hand does not match my being."
"If it doesn't match you, why else would we be here?" He asked again.
"To waste your time?" I answered, and the female officer let out a heavy sigh.
"Alright, Ms. Jang. The obvious evidence we have that matches you is the size of the hand used to strangle the victim." She explained and it pissed me off.
"Am I the only one with that size of hand? Plus, are you invalidating the fact that I'm also a victim?"
"That is not the case here." The male officer calmly said.
"How could you be so sure that I'm a suspect with just one evidence?" I slammed the table. "I'm also a victim of sex trafficking! He deserved to die!"
"Please calm down." He favored.
"Calm down? That video the "victim" posted is all around the world now, and I guess your signal's too slow to know that.
How come you were nowhere to be found on my case, yet so fast to accuse me? Isn't my case what you should have investigated first?"
They went completely silent, and I left the room. I knew that they won't follow me, as I have the positive card now.
It's been such a headache, and when I was about to enter the classroom, one of them purposely splattered water on me.
"Drop out, murderer!" The girl shouted, and all of them laughed.
All of them started throwing crumpled papers on me, and I can't contain myself anymore. I rushed to the girl and carried her up using her uniform, while she's all smiles.
Everyone started to make a fuss with it that even other students swarmed to our room. Cameras everywhere and voices that echoes in my ears. I let go of her and left the room bringing all my things with me.
"That's right! Leave, monster!" She shouted again and laughed.
I don't know where I shall go, as the hallway is full of students trying to mess with me.
Gladly, one of my professors came to bring me to their office, and all of them agreed to give me a week suspension from my classes as it won't help if I'll always be present within the scenes.
"I'll take it as a break."
