One by one, the elder members in BTS began to attend to the military, leaving the youngsters behind to fend on their own. The maknae line were affected by it emotionally but it's the worst for Jungkook. Being the youngest in BTS means that he gets a lot of love and attention from the others, especially Jin so when he went to the military, he felt like a huge part of him is taken away.

Ryuu had been busy with her being the ambassador of Chanel. There's tons of fashion shows and photoshoot to attend that she barely had time for Jungkook. Still, at night, when she had the tiniest bit of time for herself, she spent it all on Jungkook, knowing he needs support at time like this. When Jin left for the military, it affected Ryuu too but she quickly got herself busy with stuffs so that she could avoid feeling lonely and overwhelmed but Jungkook has a lot of free time on his own that he can't help but feeling overwhelmed.

After a busy time in Milan, Ryuu finally had time off for her to do whatever she wants so she decided to stay with Jungkook for as long as she could before going back to her parents house. It was a long flight with Namjoon since he also attended the fashion show.

Namjoon sat from across Ryuu as she kept on looking at the screen of her phone with a frown. "Ryuu?" The girl looked up, "everything okay? You've been staring at your phone since we got on the plane. What's wrong?"

Ryuu sighed and shook her head. She switched off her phone and went to ask for a glass of champagne to lift her mood. Namjoon knew something was wrong and his instinct is telling him that it has something to do with Jungkook since he was out of reach after the live he did where he fell asleep in the middle of the live. "It's about Jungkook, right?" She hummed without hesitation. "I've tried contacting him but nothing. He hasn't even read the messages I sent and he won't answer his goddamn phone."

She feels like she's overreacting but she's just worried. Namjoon stood up from his seat to sit next to Ryuu and patted her back to calm her down. "You know this whole thing is stressing him out, right?" She nodded her head. "Besides, Jungkook is bad at showing his emotions. He's still learning, Ryuu. Jin hyung leaving probably hurt him more than it did to us. He just need some time."

Right after arriving in Korea, Ryuu left the airport as soon as she could and drove back to Jungkook's house. Thankfully for her, she had spare keys that Jungkook gave just in case for an emergency. She walked as fast as she could to the building and while in the elevator, she stares at her own reflection in the mirror and let out a deep breath. "I need to calm down. Showing him that I'm worried will make things worse. You have to be the bigger person today, Ryuna."

The door of the elevator slides open and so she made her way towards Jungkook's house. She unlocked the door and enters the house. It was dark and dull which is normal most of the time but there's no sign of Bam at all. It was gloomy too in there. "Jungkook? Are you home?"

No answer was received so she took off her shoes and head towards the master bedroom. Entering the bedroom, she could hear the water running in the shower. "Babe, I'm home! Are you in the shower?" It was quiet for a while as the sound of the water had died down. Seconds later, the door of the bathroom slides open, revealing a freshly bathe Jungkook. He had a towel wrapped around his waist and his hair still wet.

"Angel, you're home."

Despite the smile he tried so hard to make, his swollen eyes and puffy face gave away that he had been crying in the shower. Still, Ryuu didn't want to confront him just yet because it might overwhelm him. Hence why she faked a smile as she handed another towel to him to dry his hair. "I bought groceries to cook you dinner. Get ready and come out when you're ready, okay?"

He hums and just as Ryuu was about to leave the room, he rushed to her and back hugged her. "Welcome home, angel. I miss you a lot. I'm glad you're here now." Ryuu smiled but truly, she felt like crying. Jungkook never really showed his emotions but seeing how he's acting at the moment lets Ryuu know that he's been through a lot. "I miss you a lot too, babe. But you have to let me go or you'll starve yourself tonight."

———-

It took Ryuu half an hour to finish making dinner. It could've been shorter but she had to deal with a clingy Jungkook who's stuck to her like he's glued to her. It's a new side of him, really. One that no one really sees. Everywhere she goes, he would tag along without letting her go. Until at some point, he got tired of being dragged around and lifted Ryuu up onto the table and hugged her.

She frowned but said nothing as she plays with his hair that is getting so long. It's fluffy though. "Do you have anything you wanted to share, babe? You know I'm always here for you—" Suddenly, Jungkook's body began to shake. He is crying so suddenly that it left Ryuu shook. However, she said nothing because she knew that what Jungkook needed is a place to let out his true feelings and not someone to judge him when he's being vulnerable.

"I feel so lonely, angel. I feel like everyone is leaving me and I hate it. I hate feeling like this because it makes me feel so weak and useless." He sobs. To be honest, it made Ryuu emotional just hearing him cry but she had to be strong for him. "I'm scared."

She pulls him in closer to her body and gently pats his back. The position they're in are not the comfiest but she'll make things work somehow. He looked up to Ryuu with sparkling eyes from crying. His nose is red and his eyes are puffy. Ryuu held his face in her hands and wiped the tears away with her thumbs before placing a soothing kiss on top of both of his eyelids.

Jungkook held the hand that's caressing his face. "I'm scared of you leaving me too. And with everything that's happened, with Jin hyung not around, I feel like I'm in a maze that I can never get out from. Please don't leave me." Ryuu smiled and shook her head. "Leave? What are you talking about? I'm never going to leave you. Not in a million year, Jungkook." She sighed, "look at me please."

The guy have been trying to avoid her eyes since forever because he fear that he will break down but he is wrong. He found peace in her eyes. Those pearly eyes held his whole world in it. "I'm not going to leave you and nor will the members. Jin hyung will be back soon, Jungkook. It's just temporary and while I can't replace his place in your life, I'll be here for you to help you through the pain you're going through right now. I'm here."

He smiled in relief. Having someone to rely on sure is a blessing. When they first started dating, Jungkook never show any emotion because he thought that a man should be the one with a strong heart so that their partner can rely on them emotionally but he now realizes that he was wrong. Emotions don't have gender and it's completely normal to feel sad and cry because if it hurts you, it hurts you and in a healthy relationship, the guy shouldn't be shamed for embracing his emotions and feeling sad.

"I love you so much, angel. You have no idea."

"You can't beat me at this I love you game because you know I'll do anything to prove to you that I love you more."
