I held the small girl for what felt like a hour. I slowly moved my body down towards the bed pulling Nessa down into my lap.

Nessa wrapped her arms around my neck nuzzling into me.

She didn't speak. Not a single word.

I was patient, trying my best to keep her calm

She pulled away resting her head on my shoulder. She took a deep breath before attempting to talk

"I-" her green eyes met mine instantly as she took her hand and softly trailed her hand on my other shoulder over and over again

I stayed calm and waited for the small girl to speak

"You didn't deserve that" Nessa mumbled softly

I gave her a soft small smile "it's ok, I promise"

Nessas eyes traced my face, I could tell she was trying to find something to tell her other wise. I could tell she didn't believe me.

I removed one of my hands from her waist feeling her body tense up.

I slowly raised my hand watching the girl draw her attention to it. I raised my pinky

Nessa looked back at me with a hint of confusion in her eyes

"I pinky promise it's ok" I spoke softly "pinky promises are a big deal man"

Nessa giggled softly "pinky promise?"

"Hey hey hey, don't laugh"

Nessa took her hand from my shoulder and wrapped her pinky around mine "Pinky promise" Nessa spoke, her bright green eyes met mine again

I could feel my body rush with goosebumps admiring the beautiful girl in my arms.

Who could hurt her

The door opened revealing my two roommates almost falling into the room

Nessa quickly jumped out of my lap stumbling to her feet

"No knock?" I asked a shooting daggers at them

"Well you know- Anna left something-" Riley was cut off by a elbow to the rib from Anna

"She's a idiot" Anna said nervously smiling while Riley rubbed her side glaring at Anna

They starred at Nessa. They tried not to make it obvious but we're failing miserably

Nessa smiled at them wrapping both arms around her back "hi"

I watched her body shift uncomfortably

"Guys this is Nessa...Nessa this is Riley and Anna" I spoke pointing at both them

Anna walked towards us "I'm sorry I'm just like a huge fan, your music is absolutely fucking beautiful. Like every word you write is exact-" Anna was pulled back by Riley

"Excuse her" she said smiling nervously looking back and forth between me and Nessa

Nessa giggled watching the two teens try to compose themselves.

I starred at them with a raised eyebrow.

Nessa pulled her phone from her pocket reading the caller ID. She looked up at me "I'm sorry I gotta take this" I nodded as she gave my roommates a small smile before leaving the room

We waited until she was completely out of the room

"There's no fucking way" Riley spoke looking at me in disbelief
